only been around the site a week or so and been reading up on bitcoins and related articles like crazy virtually the entire time(which also led me down a certain silk road). i don't like making useless posts and don't want to wait a month to get to 5 either, i tend to lurk more then anything. my only interest in getting out of here is so i could post in http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=11549.40 and give my opinion on what i think about stealing someones computer resources without their knowledge... and as of today would like to post or Im this guy as well http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=20775.0 you guys ever thought of adding a banner like, "want to post? sign up now so when you want to you wont have to wait a month"

Hi,

 please whitelist me too.

The newbie-forum arena does not help me, I need to reply and write posts in the regular forums.

I am almost 7h online.

I am having an issue with Deebit where it shows "No such transaction" for a payout of 1.11BTC.

I'd like to be able to post in the Deepbit thread so Tycho can see my issue. Yes I am aware that he knows about the issue, but the only way for him to fix issues like these is for him to see it. May I please be whitelisted so I can do this.

I am formally requesting to be put on the whitelist.

I wanted to start a topic in several areas, but initially the economics area regarding the bitcoin market penetration in the following countries:

Belarus  -  Russia threatened to turn off electricity due to non-payment,  major currency crisis.
Greece -  2 inches from defaulting and exiting the Euro
Spain - following right behind Greece.

The reason I would like to have a native client built with a focus on those countries is because honestly those three are on the verge of an economic collapse.    It makes our bitcoin rollarcoaster look tame compared to what they have going on there.

I know there are bitcoin clients in those languages (either official or non-official)  but I believe we need to focus on those areas,  even specific pages on bitcoin.org geared towards those nations.

If we can get some penetration in those markets,  it would imply that bitcoins are somewhat of a currency of reserve.

Best Regards,
Roger

I'd like to get the permission to post in any thread.

I think in general this limitation is good way to limit the spam, but in the same way, I don't want to spam the 'Newbies' section just to reach my 5 posts.
I would fully understand if this request got denied.

If you have an immediate need to be allowed into the forum beyond, please post your request here. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. You must provide evidence that shows that you understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie would or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum.

Much obliged.

Edit: Many people posting here have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements. If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you don't need to post here.

can i get out of here? i'm putting together a bitcoin project and need to find developers, i was hoping to use the marketplace for it

Please whitelist me. I've been lurking for a long time, understand bitcoins, etc. I have some questions / proposals about bitcoins that I posted in the newbies forum, but I'd like to repost them in the main forums, for the more experienced people to see.

Thanks!

I just wanted to give an answer in a thread and noticed that i´m not anymore allowed to do this Sad
Would be nice if this could be changed again (my account on the forum is older than 3 months and i´m using Bitcoins since ~6 months frequently if this helps). Thanks.

My second post is an informative though very simplified explanation of block mining. While I am willing to converse some more in the Newbie forum, I thought I might request whitelist status given that post.

EDIT: I have posted several other informative posts now.

hey there, amazing forum and community here! I've been lurking in the shadows for about a month now and I finally decided to register and make my first post. I'd like to start off by saying I'm not a spammer nor do I have any intent to spam or pollute this board with junk.

That being said, I will explain why I want to be here and why I want to post.

I am the owner of a marketing company located in new york city, we are very intrigued about the btc currency and are already accepting it for design and development projects. Along with working with small businesses day to day I have also been day-trading the BTC currency and involving myself completely with the entire concept.

I have been glued to my computer for about 2 weeks now non stop researching and planning for some big projects I am going to be launching in the coming months.

I feel bitcoin has opened a brand new realm for e-commerce and will continue to move forward (given no gov interference)

I will not be saying too much about the concepts and projects I will be launching but what I can say is they will only add to current ways of spending, earning, and receiving bitcoins.

I hope i can be whitelisted so I can contribute to the already very informative posts that are made on a day to day basis in the main sections of the forums.

Have a good day guys!

Please, i respectfully demand being appointed as a full member.

You see, i am one of the oldest members. I saw the potential of bitcoin from the start, i stayed up restless in my bed in 2009, thinking of the libertarian utopia that would await us. And i made an account here. So it began. And i made topics. However, now i have unfortunately been subject to newbie treatment, which is perhaps unjust, i would recommend you reconsider this.
