whales in control of a huge percentage suck balls in the end. Reason of this failure was that airdrop allowed exchanges and big BTC holders like ICONOMI or ICO projects to participate. Exchanges were not allowed, but actually they created non-exchange-looking BTC addresses for this purpose. I guess dumping will go on for quite some time till those big byte holders complete selling. Perhaps Tony could have laid some freeze mechanism (airdropped bytes (or big part of it) are frozen for at least 1 year). That might have created enough time for technical and business development. Chasing commercial partners like in 10% payback program at this stage looks a bit late to me. But other than that, Byteball do not seem to have any big problem. Recently joined programmers may bring some surprise

One of them was to reject addresses with high frequency of transactions. The bot automatically reject addresses with more than 50 transactions in the last 3 days prior to the linking (except by signature, in which case chances are high that you are the real owner of that address).

Just let them dump and enjoy your cheep byteball coins... Airdrop is still going on and the project is very young. I think it is fair the hold this coin for several additional month. I think this coin/technologie has a great future!

You're wrong there: exchanges were allowed to join the airdrop. What wasn't allowed, is an exchange user claiming airdrop from an address owned by the exchange. It does feel bad though to see the dumpers profit more than the holders, but that can still change in the future. Byteball is working on real life applications. That's a risk, but if it works, it will pay off.

That might have created enough time for technical and business development. this is actually a very good idea. It sucks I didn't think of it earlier I would definitely have propagated that idea. All bytes received for free based on BTC holdings should be frozen/timelocked for a year. Or alternatively, a fixed percentage of the airdrop bytes should be allowed for selling.

Can somebody please explain how to get free test bytes to start playing around?
Post your address: I will send you some. My address NHH2G675VLQEPVEUK7S5KXSNTZ4HYWOX I dont understand. My balance is still 0 test byteballs. Is something wrong with my wallet? Is there any third way to get some test byteballs? I added one more wallet so my the addresses is NHH2G675VLQEPVEUK7S5KXSNTZ4HYWOX TEEZS66RGFVTNAJCACQ23DEYCL3A6GJI Can somebody provide clear explanation how to obtain test byteballs? Hey you received real bytes on NHH2G675VLQEPVEUK7S5KXSNTZ4HYWOX : https://explorer.byteball.org/#NHH2G675VLQEPVEUK7S5KXSNTZ4HYWOXForget testnet, it's for dev. I thought that testnet is for getting used to payment. This addresses which I already posted is made with test valet. Can you transfer those real bytes than to this address ZW7NS5ZKBBDLLMQAIE6KAMCMN7XE3ZHT which is made with production, not test wallet? Hello, I still did not get any bytes. What is wrong? When can I aspect to get some? Dude, you gotta be kidding me. Simply coming to a forum and begging earns you nothing. You were answered, but you simply ignored the response. You posted an address.. NHH2G675VLQEPVEUK7S5KXSNTZ4HYWOX That address is not only NOT linked, but also contained no byteball at the time of the distribution, so you got no Bonus. Stop begging and read the first post to learn how to get byteballs. Simply creating an address doesn't mean you get free money. If that were the case, I would create billions of addresses. LOL! The level of entitlement is real on these forums. It is like why do you expect to get paid while doing 0 work? I seriously do not understand beggars and their mentality. Kudos to you shutting this down because if you did not I would. Now byteball talk . It is unfortunate to see the price so low but with the hardworking team behind the scenes and the updates currently rolling out we should optimistic. I surely do. And I think this tide will turn quite soon, once byteball gets more traction What's more real is that DTF actually never asked for real bytes and never said anything about being entitled to receiving bytes from the distribution simply because they created an address. DTF asked for test bytes from the beginning, they gave an address because Wekkel proposed to send them some, but Wekkel sent real bytes to the testnet address DTF provided. DTF still not seeing the test bytes they expected from Wekkel was confused. DTF, if you want test bytes, normally there is a faucet that can provide them. Here https://byteball.org/testnet.html you can find all you need to know about testnet. You could also try exporting the seed from your testnet wallet into a mainnet wallet and see if it recovers the bytes sent by Wekkel.

this is actually a very good idea. It sucks I didn't think of it earlier I would definitely have propagated that idea. All bytes received for free based on BTC holdings should be frozen/timelocked for a year. It's a terrible idea: if Bytes are frozen, they can't be used. That doesn't only block them from being sold at an exchange, it also blocks them from being used to buy stuff, or send to friends to experience the Byteball wallet. Or alternatively, a fixed percentage of the airdrop bytes should be allowed for selling. A partial freeze might have worked. But it could also just delay dumping the coins. In a way, this is what's happening already: the Bytes under Tony's control are frozen and only released to the public in small batches.

It really doesn't matter which way it went...
a. time locked byteballs - dumpers can't dump, "traders" see little value in "free" altcoin they can't immediately profit from, price stays low b. unlocked byteballs - dumpers dump so they can profit from their "free" altcoin, price drops as supply > demand
Either way, people moaning about the price need to realise that the "true" value of the coin will not be realised until AFTER the airdrop has finished and all the "ZOMG FREE MONEYYZ!!!!1!!11!1!!" crowd have finally moved on to whatever ponzi scheme "ICO" is the next "Big Thing"™...

I don't think its a good idea locking up airdropped coins. Let the free markets sort it out. Sellers will sell, buyers will buy, in the end it works out how it should. In terms of technical picture. I want to see Byteball break out of this downtrend, its very close just now. (log price scale) Considering RSI looks oversold and there is no airdrop this month I think Byteball could have a bit of a run. Hang in there.

Yeah let me compete with Ico BTC Wallets like LISK , Waves, Whales that picked up a large Chunk at 9$ and big Exchanges claiming with their cold BTC Wallets. Nearly at the End of Distrubution OFC. JUST HOLD MY BEER. PS: Most of us are big Fans of free and unregulated Markets and locking Coins is simply a bad bad bad Idea. This will go down for some more Time and we have to wait for the next Cycle and a fairer Distribution. Metcalfe's Law done wrong here. It was designed as a low Supply PnD Coin for Whales in the First Place. Things should turnarround again after these fucks are done with selling. Strong Hands > selling at teh bottom here

When you give away a top quality coin for free in a market where people throw money at proven scams, this is what happens, let it be a lesson for the future, go with the market, if people want to throw money at you, don't resist it, just take it.

Dude, you gotta be kidding me.
Simply dare to comment on something you don't even try to understand. If you did not read from the beginning what I was writing and you are not willing to help please honor yourself and spare your time by not posting something which doesn’t help anybody. So I will again try to explain my situation.
From the developer I read that you can get bytes from bot and so I installed developer wallet, since I thought that nobody will give you the real bytes. Since I only wanted to try how to properly backup my wallet and also learn how to backup in the case of many linked devices this was sufficient for me. But after I post that I cannot find that bot, Wekkel said that I should post my address and that he will send me some. So I posted address made with dev wallet and this address was NHH2G675VLQEPVEUK7S5KXSNTZ4HYWOX. Two peoples send the bytes to that address but I never received them. Later I figure out that they sent real bytes and that dev wallet is not supposed for user to learn how to do backup. After that I explain situation and hope that developers could redirect that real bytes to the production wallet address ZW7NS5ZKBBDLLMQAIE6KAMCMN7XE3ZHT because this is silly situation. I wanted to learn how not to lose bytes and somebody send me a real bytes which are probably lost.
By the way that arise serious question for the developers. Is there another production address identical to this dev address and that somebody get this bytes. I don’t think that this is the case. More probably those two people lost their bytes and nobody get them. If this is the case developers should explain how it is possible that this transaction is verified even if there is no receiver. Who is the owner of this missing byteballs? At least let’s hope that developers can give back those real bytes to the people which sent it to me.
Michail 1 if you checked the time I first appear on this forum you could noticed that it was after the last whole moon and that linking account would not give me anything since
1) I don’t have any byteballs
2) I don’t have any bitcoins
3) I hear about Byteball after last whole moon But I wish you happy living with your ignorance.
@yinyangwinwa you wrote that you do not understand beggars and their mentality. I have couple advices for you. Never judge something you don’t understand. Smart people would know importance of that advice. And also instead of being crybaby about price of byteball try not to drive away possible investors who could help to change the price of byteballs. Especial be careful since there is over 800 cryptocurrency and this investor maybe decide to invest in other one and not in the byteball.
kaicrypzen I really appreciate your response

Who is the owner of this missing byteballs? It's not worth much, so don't worry about the 60k bytes. In cryptocurrencies, it is always possible to send to an address nobody owns. It's called "burning coins". I am not familiar with test wallets, so I can't answer you there. What I can do, is send you some real bytes and blackbytes to play around with. Talk to me in Byteball chat: Add a new device, accept my invitation: A8JlWkrGQd9XxG7VPAtyWs2uzVuVqMlJOBpu8rusG8v0@byteball.org/bb#iW4mLpB43UAC , and say hi
