The more people will use the wallet and understand the advantages of byteball the better. Hence the merchants are indeed a good idea.
What is missing though is more Marketing and adoption. So that people actually talk about it. This coins is likely ONE OF THE BIGGEST successes in 2017 - yet it is hardly talked about. More us tech guys know about it.
I believe in Tony and that longterm the price will be up again, for sure in coming weeks as we get closer to the full moon.
I was a big believer of this project. But when I used other wallets of Ark, PIVX and Decred, I stopped believing in Byteball wallet's superiority. Yes, the chatbot function is nice. But that cannot be enough to think Byteball should be in top 30 or 50 crypto. Blackbytes may have some advantage in privacy, but PIVX's zPIV looks better in terms of ease of use, as far as I can tell. Maybe it's just I don't fully appreciate technical attractiveness of Byteball, but for the time being, I am comfortable with investing in other nice projects. When price uptrend is back, I may come back to buy some bytes , though. I'm sorry to tell you that the superiority of a cryptocurrency depends on the protocol, not on the wallet. I am well aware of that, but still the wallet is what people interact with when cryptocurrency is used. And I am saying that Byteball wallet alone cannot be a great selling point when there are other wonderful wallets available. Still not a very good way to look at the virtues of any cryptocurrency. Wallets can be made by third parties. If you have a solid network structure, good developers will come up with something that fits better for you.

Well, I'm a bagholder. However, all of the coins that I currently have are airdrop coins. So all that I have lost is my time. I don't think that is considered being a bagholder. $0 in while you own $xyz value means you're ahead.

hi, i sent blackbytes from my desktop wallet to my old mobile wallet. after restoring this wallet via seed the balance is still shown as 0. I read some time ago that after restoring old recieving wallet i can get the blackbytes by asking the sender to re-send the private payment. It would be great if someone could give me a step to step introduction what i have to do on my desktop wallet and on my mobile wallet.
Kind regards tortellino

up On your desktop wallet, you can go to the history of blackbytes' transactions, select a transaction you did with your mobile wallet and then click the button to resend the private payloads. I never tried that myself, but it seems to be a good place to start.

I haven't tested this in my Byteball: Blackbytes FAQ.

Hi! Can I ask what's the point of LuckyBytes? Is it just like trustless lottery or something?
Thanks
Yea its a player vs player lottery and provably fair, so you do not need to worry about manipulations! But it's not trustless in the sense of conditional payments. Sadly this would not have worked with smart contracts, so payment is done in the traditional sense. But prizes are beeing payed out instantly, so there is not much to worry about. Only 4 Days left! Jackpot is already at 2809 MB (~420$)!Join with your own ticket for only 11 MB. Pair up with LuckyBytes directly from the botstore (last item in the list). Or from the LuckyBytes website: https://lucky.byte-ball.com

In times of huge Bitcoin pumps all alt coins no matter how good they are suffer the massive power of bitcoin price rises. Byteball will have a long way to recover if bitcoin keeps going up. Dark times to hold bytes and blackbytes but it will prove to be necessary. Bitcoin is too much any coin

The bot was right. It was your address when you sent the BTC. Your wallet then paid the bot, but moved the rest of your BTC from that address to a Change address within your wallet. So, you can either send the BTC back to the start address or Use the signature method.

I used a nano ledger to send the funds so was the Change address in that wallet? And do you know how do I send back the BTC? I will try the signature method next.

Yes, when you have a wallet (like nano), you have what is called an HD wallet. So, you basically have a shit ton of addresses. This is why you see a new address every transaction you make. Think of this.... you go into McDonalds with a $10 bill and pay $1 for a burger. You don't rip off part of the $10 bill. You simply give them $10 and they give you $9 in change. Kind of the same for bitcoin... You take $10 to pay $1, but $9 comes back to a change address (another address you own). So, you have a shit ton of receive addresses and change addresses. The wallet handles them for you, so all you see is that you have a total balance, but it's made up (normally) of a bunch of addresses. When you pay someone, it determines which addresses to pull from to pay the amount you want to send. You know the bitcoin address you currently have linked. So, best thing for you to do is wait hours before the next airdrop. Then, tell your wallet to pay the linked address (your address) all your coins. So, when the snapshot takes place, you get credit for all the coins you own and not simply a part of what you might own. Another way to say it is that your wallet now has $9, but might be spread accross multiple addresses, so move them all to a single linked address prior to the next distribution snapshot.

Yes, but do you really want to sign with every address you have for each distribution? Best thing to do is send all your bitcoin back to a single bitcoin address you have in order to take part. Right now, we don't know how widely your coins are distributed throughout the wallet (how many change addresses, etc). So, now that you have an address linked, just wait until just prior to the snapshot (an hour or two), and move your coins then. Because, even with signing an address now doesn't mean your coins will be there when the snap shot takes place in a month.

Lol. Peeps need to calm the fuk down. Btfd and wait 6 months for distro to be done. You'll see. Quote me Pump and dumb completed. Nothing to see here now. Time to move on to the next coin and rinse and repeat. Sorry to the bagholders for their losses. There you have it your quote what losses? Bought high sold low = losses? What losses you ask? It will be a cold day in hell when Byteball achieves a new ATH.
