The transition bot has gone silent for me and does no longer reply to anything. Even if I delete my profile, it still does nothing. This is very strange. Did I trigger some IP ban or something?

It seems this is an issue with the bot. When first pairing the device with the bot, it replies with instructions to linking, however, after closing and reopening the wallet, there doesn't seem to be a way to make the bot display the linking instructions again (or anything else).

Even after a full reinstall? (that is, with a newly generated wallet) Anyway, do you know what are those linking instructions?

I don't think so, if you remove and reinstall everything, it should work, but I think the bot should be able to display instructions when asked. Anyway, do you know what are those linking instructions?
Well you can find general instructions in the first post, but the instructions are specific to each device. Either you send a micropayment to an address (the micropayment and the address are displayed by the bot and are not the same for everyone), or you sign your Byteball address and copy/paste the result in the chat interface (this one you can do I guess), however I don't know if the bot (in its silent state) will respond to that ... Try it (if you can).

It stopped for some reason. Restarted.

Is it better to uninstall the test version before installing livenet wallet? Not really necessary.

The latest Byteball 64 wallet executable wants to install to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Byteball directory. That seems odd, (x86) I mean.

It is just for standardization reasons I think

1. Sorry but LOL . 2. This is not a traditional ICO, nothing is being sold. 3. You ask for a commission, yet you don't even say how you would support it, what you offer and why anyone should use your service. 4. What kind of support do you offer? 5. I think I should've stopped at 1.

Can you give more details? Are you sure it is not an issue with you internet connection? I just re-donwloaded it and everything went fine.

Nope you don't need a minimum, you just need to fill your BTC address if you want a piece of the pie. The bot tells you your linked Bitcoin address(es) and it also tells you to move your funds there, so if you don't want to see "Current balance of this address is 0 BTC.", move some funds to your address, and to participate make sure it has funds before the snapshot's taken. Current transition rate is 0.032132917702399996 BTC per Gigabyte
This means more than 3213 BTC has already been linked.

It is just for standardization reasons I think The testnet 64 bit version used to install into the Program Files directory as one would expect. It seems like an odd adjustment to put the livenet 64 bit version into the 32 bit directory - I'd guess it's a little oopsie of some kind. Edit: oops, can't say for sure that the old testnet version autoinstalled in the Program Files directory. Perhaps I put it there manually - don't remember now. Sorry if that confuses the issue.

Just for Information: The installer of the win64 0.7.1 version tells you that are going to install 0.7.0 but at the end you got 0.7.1 https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases/tag/v0.7.1Will there be an option to install it portable?

When will this snapshot be?
On the first block after December 25 00:00:00 UTC. Does my Bitcoin have to sit in this account I link or can I link it now and then Remove my Bitcoin?
No it doesn't, you can link your address now, link it later, fund it now or fund it later. All should be done before December 24 at 23:59:59 UTC to ensure your linked address is part of the snapshot.

So what is stopping someone linking a load of btc then moving it to another btc address and doing it again....and again?
