You know, I think the problem with Byteball I'm seeing is that people with Byteball are hoarding them pretty hard.  There's almost no volume on exchanges so any attempt to buy any meaningful amount skyrockets the price.  I mean the 24 hour volume has been under 50 BTC total.  I don't know if going to a model where the distribution will go to existing holding is going to improve the distribution at all, it seems the big holders from the first round like ICONOMI are not selling off what they've received to help improve the distribution. There really needs to be some incentive for more people to sell their early distributions to help even this out.  I mean it's nice that we'll get 0.2 per byte we already hold, but many of the people holding are the same people who aren't selling any at all so I'm not sure this will help improve availability.  I think the run up in altcoin prices is actually hurting how widely distributed byteball will get right now, people are hoarding too hard.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Read at LEAST a couple of pages back on a forum thread before posting questions that were just answered.

That said, you don't get free byteballs for simply linking an address.  You had to actually own bitcoin in that address at the time of the snapshot.  And, the byteballs haven't been dropped yet.

of course i know that, this is implicit, i linked it with an address with two bitcoin, but still zero balance on my wallet

So, you ignored the posts about the distribution happening sometime "tomorrow morning" which is today?

well they said that the distribution was in the 10, today is 11, so not my fault if they delayed it, ti just want to be sure that i did everything correct

Well, the provided dates are snapshots dates (exact date for Byteball DAG and starting date before the first mined BTC block), distribution happens after that, note also that blackbytes distribution takes longer.

As the distribution model, most bb are in the hand of rich man. They won't sell bb at low price. For them , it's only a small amount money. I doubt if the price will jump dramatically after the final distribution.

Security and convenience Notice for users of these hubs

Further, the hubs and witness wont ever reveal your IP address as is done by the byteball.fr/worldmap. There is no logs on the above hubs, logs go to /dev/null.

Other hubs you can use is blackbytes.me/bb which isnt mine.

All IP are freely available from the database in any hub or any full wallet on any end-user desktop computer.

There is no "revelation" here. The info is open to everybody that can run a simple db query. We just display it in a structured maner for the benefit of all.

As always use TOR if you want to remain private. Nothing new under the sun.

today I found that http://transition.byteball.org/ show incorrect amount of my btc balance,  missing two last transaction, which I have done yesterday before snapshot, and have been visible. Such a issue is it just me?

Either the site wasn't up-to-date when you checked, or your transactions were not confirmed fast enough. Anyway, when they are confirmed you will see them, but if they were confirmed after the blockchain snapshot, then they won't count for this round.

Has the airdrop taken place or not yet?
Is there anything that needs to be done if the coins where linked in the previous air drop.?

transaction was confirmed before snapshot, and full balance was visible in http://transition.byteball.org/, but this morning part balance missing, and now again full, so guess may have been performed re-sync.

edit:
got my GBYTE for full balance. Smiley

Very shady to turn the other hubs in red, untrustworthy. Very shady to call your witness a "community-witness" when you color others red but yours green, those you show as red are the same people who helped you setup your witness.

You are trying too hard to gain trust of users, and by doing so is loosing at least my trust.

Use byteroll.com/bb the witness 7ULGTPFB72TOYA67YNGMX2Y445FSTL7O if you want security and privacy, your IPs will not be shown on a world-map.

Is it right for me to assume that the next Airdrop will be around the 9th of June, as that is the next full moon? [1]

One more try.  Grin

1. I created Copay wallet. It contained 1 address (AAAAA).
2. I sent 8 BTC to AAAAA
3. Then I sent 0.001xxx BTC from AAAAA to Byteball
4. What Copay did:
   a) They sent 0.001xxx BTC from AAAAA to Byteball
   b) They sent 0.05 BTC from AAAAA to BBBBB (I never did this transaction - it's done automatically for what ever reason)
5. Now I have two addresses in my Copay wallet (AAAAA with 7.949 BTC + BBBBB with 0.05 BTC)
6. How do I get the BTC from BBBBB to AAAAA?

I hope this makes it clear.

This is not correctly.  You could not have put in 8 btc and only sent out .05.
There has to be input and output.
So, I think you have several small transactions going into AAAAA and the wallet app took the closest matching which was close to the TX you wanted to make.  it was done and then a fee was paid and the rest of the change went back to another address.

What is the Transaction ID for your step 3?

You are right. I didn't send the 8 BTC at once. I sent it in 3 transactions into AAAAA. After this, I sent the 0.001 to byteball and with this transaction, Copay did this "ghost transaction" of 0.05 BTC to BBBBB.

BTW: How many distributions of byteballs will follow?

Distribution of bytes is complete.
29,007.181203980 GB distributed in this round.
New available supply is 189,283.869498237 GB.

Distribution of blackbytes will start in a few hours, I'll update when it is finished.
