7970                200   165   120   95   65   55   48
270x                115   100     67   55   40   35   32
280x                200   165   125   90   65   60   51

RX 470 4Gb      175   155   145   120  70   60   50

Could you share RX 470 config. Mine just 152 on V8.

What level -i are you using and are you using the -nofee switch?

I can get 170h/s with fee enable and about 158 with the fee switched off using -i6.

Thanks Claymore
I have four cards. three card give roughly 160-180. but one card give 45 h/s. All the cards are 480 4gb and 8gb. I swipe the riser but did not help.
Any idea
Thanks,
Get GPU-Z and look at clockspeeds of cards.  Sometimes a card won't properly ramp up clocks under load if there are no monitors plugged in.  You can also get an HDMI display emulator off Amazon for $15.

I see people recommending the display emulators and was wondering if the end of a cheap hdmi wire would suffice?

I can pick one up for £1 and that would give me two ends to effectively plug in.

does not work as intented ... you need an edid simulation for the card to recognize a 'display'

Ok good , now stop .

Work on Nvidia .

Nvidia architecture is almost always inferior to AMD when it comes to mining. Also no real reason to develop a miner or optimize it for maybe 10% of the market of mining equipment.

optimier is not as good as your miners

one reason is you need Ubuntu 16 to run these cards at there best, the problem and that's on AMD some cards still don't have AMDPROGPU drivers support for Ubuntu 16 once they do we will probable see a Linux version of CM . and it's not worth it to run two different version of CM in Linux form one with Ubuntu 16 and one with Ubuntu 14 , I'm sure he would use 14 over 15 i wouldn't, i would use 15 it seems more stable then 14 but that's  me, all because of AMD driver support while the windows drivers support all cards  and windows version but a few that no long have a use or are actually sold as new and may be no win xp support.

I don't care much for Linux either ,windows is so much easier to use . but I do like to use Linux on PI type PC over the windows version for PI type PC.

NO additional settings exept pool, -tt and -mport

Different Vendors (Gigabyte, Powercolor, ASUS) all stock, but BIOS mod timings (was done for ETH).

P.S. That feeling when you accidentally post message while editing it, fix errors, but people start quoting unedited message. So you quote their message and fix your quote text in their quote

I edited original stock BIOS of each card with timings, so ALL setting are stock (~1200 core/ 6600 memory).

Bravo Claymore!

v8 now gives me R9 390 = 270 H/s per card!

Updates:

R9 290 = 268 H/s

R9 290x = 278 H/s

RX 480 = 172 H/s

R9 Nano = 278 H/s

R7 370 = 110 H/s

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Breaking 305 h/s on my xfx 390x's.  It's the 1060mhz 8gb ones.

I do have something odd happen on some rigs. Tahitis with3gb ram. Some will do intensity 6 some say not enough ram setting intensity 5.  I've ran the usual setx commands.  Not really an issue persay. Overall excellent improvements. Thanks claymore

Edit. Figured it out. Those rigs that set intensity 5 on tahiti 3gb have the dummy plug in them. So I assume it uses a bit too much ram for display purposes.
