What is your config for the 4gb bro' ?
Yacoin Configs: GTX 760 2gb (1293mhz clock, ~3.8 khash/s): -b 32768 -i 0 -L 3 -l k30x6 -H 1 GTX 760 4gb (1293mhz clock, ~4.1 khash/s): -b 32768 -i 0 -L 3 -l k95x2 -H 1 -C 1 -m 1 I get the occasional validation error but it's maybe 0.1% of the time, and I'm running the monitor off of the iGPU. My CPU seems to be taking a beating when I'm running both cards vs just one. I don't think it should be with a 4770K...

Yesterday i experienced the change in hashrate , when i closed the browser chrome the hashrate from 260 droped to 205 and stayed there until i opened the browser again. I tried it on my laptop with gt555 but there was no difference.

Hello,
I wanted to mine some Yacoin but all the pools reject connection for both cudaminer and cgminer. Is there any pools which work?
If I can finally set my rig for Yacoin mining I am curious if titan is faster than my 290x.

I'm mining MaxCoin with 1GH.com using Cudaminer, and I have an NVIDIA Quadro 4000 graphics card that I'm using. Oh, and I'm on a windows 7, 64 bit computer. Things seem to be working, but I want to be sure that I'm not potentially burning up my graphics card. I originally set my connection string set to: cudaminer.exe -H 1 -l F512x16 -a keccak -o stratum+tcp://maxpool.1gh.com:17333/ -u account -p password Later I replaced F512x16 to F256x16 to see if it would run cooler. The hash rate changed to about 27750 khash/s, but the temperature stayed exactly the same. Usage changed from 97% to 95%. Oh, one thing, I get an 'error message when it first starts up that says "Given launch config 'F256x16' requires too much memory. But then it goes ahead and starts running anyway with those parameters. I do get that message with almost every configuration I've tried. It only disappeared when I set it to F16x16, which was depressingly slooooooowwwwwwwwww. ..... ..... Can someone who understands this stuff tell me if I'm within a good range to maintain optimal performance while keeping my graphics card in good shape??? Or am I risking wearing it out? Is there a more appropriate setting for my graphics card that I could be certain would not overtax it, but still maintain a good hash rate? Also, I've been letting the program run pretty consistently all day (probably over 16 hours I think), and I've only earned 0.16 MAX. That seems kind of low, doesn't it? Quadro 4000 based on chip GF100GL : 2 GB GDDR5, CUDA Cores 256, Shader Model 5.0, based on the GeForce 400 Series Fermi architecture. " The GF100 cards provide Compute Capability 2.0, while the GF104/106/108 cards provide Compute Capability 2.1." you can try "-H 2 -C 2 -m 1 -l F1536x16 -L 256 -i 0" , if still memory error at launch lower to -l F1024x16 but keep -L 256 but dont expect too much from 2.0 compute card

I posted this in the 1gh.com thread, and someone recommended I ask my question here: I'm mining MaxCoin with 1GH.com using Cudaminer, and I have an NVIDIA Quadro 4000 graphics card that I'm using. I'm getting what I think is decent performance, I think... but not earning much in the way of maxcoins...seems to take a lot of effort just to earn tiny fractions. The command window indicates that hashes seem to average around 28280 khash/s unless I start doing stuff on my computer, then it gets slower. Anyway, the temperature seems stable around 77 to 78 degrees, and it is operating at the gpu stated upper limits. I'm getting quite a few yays, and only an occasional boo. Here is a link to a screen shot of the command window and gpu z. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1E0rFsXEmnBVDh6aWlGSVEzZk0/edit?usp=sharingCan someone who understands this stuff tell me if I'm within a good range to maintain optimal performance while keeping my graphics card in good shape??? Or am I risking wearing it out? Is there a more appropriate setting for my graphics card that I could be certain would not overtax it, but still maintain a good hash rate? Also, I've been letting the program run pretty consistently all day (probably over 16 hours I think), and I've only earned 0.16 MAX. That seems kind of low, doesn't it? Also, while I'm here, I'm new to mining, and I'm trying to figure out how to set cudaminer to solo mine maxcoin. The directions I've found are confusing at best. Does anyone know of any clear, easy-to-understand, simplified setup instructions for a newbie like me? If so, could you direct me to them? If not, would you be a dear, and maybe explain it to me in terms I might understand? Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks Katherine Hi I got the same card as you (or do I have a K4000...). It's a rather noisy card sadly, my fan usually runs at around 65% when on full load (not overclocked). It's also rather slow with around 23 Mh/s in Maxcoin. Sadly the difficulty went extremely up and thus you get so little MAX now. I've switched this card again to Yacoin, where I reach around 0.92 kh/s.

Don't use remote desktop for this, RDP will create you a new desktop with a virtual display adapter. Use TightVNC or similar to connect to your pc.

Any chance we could see a modified version of cudaminer that supports Darkcoin? Someone just released a version of sgminer that is compatible with its 11 algorithm rotation. It uses blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo.
The arrival of this sgminer has left anyone without amd cards behind, so it is no longer a cpu only coin.

I know it is not really the place to ask that, but is there an "official" cgminer (or equivalent) since the original dev dumped support for gpu ? (for the moment the only thing which look serious is vertminer... for the rest it just seems everyone are doing their own business without caring about what the others do... what a mess... lol).
Currently the gtx780ti and the 290x doesn't like each other very much, if one is on top of the other it gets hot... (did some test yesterday, the temp limit of 75C on the 780ti was making it running at 85% tdp...)

Christian, please -- and this isn't completely related with coin mining -- if you have direct contact with Nvidia and Maxwell chip has indeed an ARM CPU, tell them to add an USB interface (or supply a separate USB hub that links to the first few PCI-e pins) and allow standalone operation. No motherboard, no Intel/AMD CPUs, no 4gb system RAM, no Windows. Just plug the PSU PCI-e power pins and the card boots ARM Linux from a connect usb pendrive

I'd like to add a bit to this request. Could we also see a parallel port added to the video card. If i'm going to run Linux, I'm going to need to print. Ethernet port would be logical as well, so I can connect to the internet. Maybe a few sata ports, so I can connect storage harddrives too. If this is going to run an OS, it should allow me the ability to have decent storage, at a decent speed. Sata is way faster than usb, even usb3. And lastly audio output. Both digital and analog.
