I can imagine one thing:
Trump says he will deregulate the banking system. That would mean they can work again like before the crises in 2007.
And that will mean as well that they will make a lot of money the coming years. So banks won't see bitcoin as a competition anymore (I'm not sure if they ever really did).
Any rumors spread from their side will vanish. I think it will lead to an even more stable bitcoin.

  It's me!!!
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

For all of you that seem confused, taxes are only on purchases and income. In that respect, bitcoin is already taxed in so much as it can be used to pay for someone's labor or purchase goods and services. The POTUS can't implement a tax on something because that item is "just hanging around".

Well as far as I know, when you convert your BTC to fiat, you will pay a tax due the increment of your capital... or at least that's the case in some countries. It sucks because like you said you already pay taxes when buying stuff, but there's another tax, the one I mentioned, when you increase your capital. That's why it would be ideal to work for BTC and buy with BTC, but if you want to buy a car or a house, you will need to pay taxes anyway since you can't hide that from the government.

Since the election of Trump to the new US President yesterday, many questions about Bitcoin arise.

most of these are only questions without any backing facts which makes them mostly speculation!

Quote
Will he promote Bitcoin and make it a breakthrough? Will he even officially ban Bitcoin? Will he make such a bad economic (and monetary) policy that Bitcoin will be seen as an alternative for many?

What do you think, what will a President Trump mean for Bitcoin?

it is hard to say anything at this point i think, but surely he is not going to start supporting bitcoin nor banning bitcoin officially and openly.

I know there are some countries that have special "flat taxes" like the APT tax in Buenos Aires and the Spahn tax in Belgium. Those are different from the usual taxes Americans pay. They are also a form of transaction tax which requires a transaction to initiate the tax just as a purchase does in the USA.

The discussion was about Donald Trump's ability to tax the hell out of Bitcoin. Of course, as you know, Trump has no control over the taxation policies of other countries. In America, Bitcoin is already taxed when it's used for the purchase of goods and services or paying income. Trump does not need to take any action for Bitcoin to be taxed.

I am not sure about it but I read somewhere that trump never used ATM and he has very little knowledge about computer so I don’t think trump will take any decision regarding bitcoin unless bitcoin come up with either extreme positive or negative news. He won’t take any decision on this own so there is no need to panic.
I have seen Trump coin traded on yobit, anyone has any idea about it?

Trump said during his campaign several times that he wanted to remove those regulations from the banks the Obama administration created.
Maybe that would be somehow possible for bitcoins as well.
Identification for buying or selling bitcoins on platforms for example could be simplyfied.

Trump made an enormous impact on the world economic system which affects directly on the Bitcoin price in a positive way. Since Trump became the new President of USA, Bitcoin price increase about $40 more. However, the economy now is more stable and Bitcoin price also returns to its price before the election.

Here's an article on the Business Insider I thought was relevant: http://www.businessinsider.com/heres-why-trumps-win-boosted-bitcoin-2016-11

The same reason I can appreciate blockchain they listed. Nothing too concrete.

He will follow the same steps from previous government, if bitcoin offer danger for USD, they will ban, btw Trump is just a puppet there.

And I don't think an cryptocurrency is part of his government program.

Nobody know with sure yet, only time will tell. I would like he let their mind open about the BTC, he is a smart guy and should see the benefits this coin can offer to everybody using this. Everything we heared until now about this subject is only speculation, because he didn't tell anything concrete about this yet, let's wait and see.

Let's hope that he doesn´t cut the cord for innovation on the blockchain sector. But since he is an investor and a finacial guru I think that he is perfectly aware of bitcoin's nature and might be able try and use it on his own favor

Oh, these numbers would make me worry. A Donald Trump can not allow that a nerdy currency to be more worth than its Trump empire  Grin

Bitcoin marketcap = 11 bi
Trump fortune = 3,7 bi

So I don't think he knows bitcoin or something like that. If the price goes up it's because people start to buy thinking in security.

You may call him a racist and a bigot, but nobody is calling Donald Trump dumb. I don't see him implementing anti-innovation measures, least of all on the blockchain sector.

I'm at a disadvantage when giving my opinion about what politicians think (more so than others), as I don't watch TV and detest politics.  However, I don't think bitcoin has registered with Trump--if he's even heard of it, it's not something he's spent a lot of time on.  His thing is real estate and such things, and I highly doubt he's going to incorporate any cryptocurrency into his policies.

That's my thought, but good luck trying to predict what he's going to do.  There's no F-ing way.

Since the election of Trump to the new US President yesterday, many questions about Bitcoin arise.

Will he promote Bitcoin and make it a breakthrough? Will he even officially ban Bitcoin? Will he make such a bad economic (and monetary) policy that Bitcoin will be seen as an alternative for many?

What do you think, what will a President Trump mean for Bitcoin?
i think president don't care about bitcoin and i am sure that he don't know about it
everything he do , bitcoiner will keep and use bitcoin
