I think that he doesn't have any opinion about Bitcoin and just doesn't care. The question is has he even heard of it. He made his fortune on different way and that is what bothers him.
Don't think that the fact he's been elected will influence Bitcoin in good or bad way.

I agree. probably he said bitcoin to impress people to choose him as a president. but I see he does not really care about bitcoin, and I am not sure he really knows what bitcoin is. even if he was serious about bitcoin, probably he would promote it to the people, but I am not really sure. imo.
I think Trump in contrast to Hillary know more about Bitcoin than we may assume. He is supported by people who are known to be Bitcoin enthusiasts.
The Silicon Valley's billionaire and known supporter of Bitcoin Peter Thiel agreed to work in the team of the elected US president:
thttp://cwt.top/news/570/known-supporter-of-bitcoin-peter-thiel-joins-trump-s-transitiona
Trump is a businessman so definitely he knows that bitcoin can help people and will give the economy of the world a great benefit. In online transaction we can save with the expenses and it's fast, he is the voice of the people so he must consider our voice.

If Trump presidency means a weaker US dollar - like many analysts suggest, then it will definitely drive up the price of bitcoin because bitcoin usually moves in the opposite direction of the US dollar as it is an asset like gold, not a fiat currency.

Bitcoin has already risen quite a bit since Trump was elected.

Agree with this, he (for now) just care to apply his economic & diplomatic plan.. The only way I think that the bitcoin will be affected (good or bad) its only if the Chinese economy its affected. That's it

Since the election of Trump to the new US President yesterday, many questions about Bitcoin arise.

Will he promote Bitcoin and make it a breakthrough? Will he even officially ban Bitcoin? Will he make such a bad economic (and monetary) policy that Bitcoin will be seen as an alternative for many?

What do you think, what will a President Trump mean for Bitcoin?
are you sure ? in my opinion he does not care about bitcoin
but everything he does about bitcoin , i am believe users bitcoin still use it

Trump is a businessman so definitely he knows that bitcoin can help people and will give the economy of the world a great benefit. In online transaction we can save with the expenses and it's fast, he is the voice of the people so he must consider our voice.

Trump will  be more favorable to Bitcoin than any of the establishment politicians. He is a businessman, and he understands the advantages of using Bitcoin. That said, I am yet to hear anything from him regarding Bitcoins.

I have asked the question because he has always seemed Bitcoin friendly. But the plans he has announced  for the economy, actually speak against Bitcoin. For example, he wants debt-financed infrastructure projects and he is against increasing the interest to weaken the US-Dollar. It follows that he wants inflation and debt devaluation. Both do not fit the way Bitcoin works.

I agree. probably he said bitcoin to impress people to choose him as a president. but I see he does not really care about bitcoin, and I am not sure he really knows what bitcoin is. even if he was serious about bitcoin, probably he would promote it to the people, but I am not really sure. imo.
If the president elect of the most advanced economy does not know about bitcoin according to you, is it Robert Mugabe that would? We all can agree that the recent increases in the price of bitcoin was spurred by goings-on from a number of countries, but not necessarily of the governments of anyone of those countries taking any positive step in the direction of bitcoin. Rather it was there calculated moves to take the shine out of the coin one way or the other that turned out to polish and got its value appreciating.

I don't quite get your point. You say that Trump wants inflation and debt devaluation but at the same time you say that he is against raising interest rates to weaken the US dollar. How can it possibly be this way? I mean he can't be against dollar depreciation and simultaneously want inflation because inflation means exactly that.

What Trump would do with bitcoin would be hard to tell (he's not unknown for being unpredictable). What we are almost certain now is that after he was elected there was a spike on the number of people exchanging fiat for bitcoin. That shows that people are at least learning to trust bitcoin. I may be wrong here, just got into bitcoin, but the uncertainty generated by the election as well as other populists coming into power may have partly caused the sudden spike in bitcoin price.

I've read from CCN that Trump got a BTCBTCBTC supporter for his budget director. Although pretty much unrelated I hope he suggests Trump BTCBTCBTC.  Grin

The consensus has it Trump's got little to do with the recent rally

I mean, at least, directly. Apart from that, I don't quite see any connection between his election and the increasing number of people learning to trust bitcoin. Did they start trusting Bitcoin because Trump got elected? Further, if the uncertainty that the presidential elections have allegedly caused was the primary force driving the prices to the moon, we should have seen the rally before the Electoral College announced Trump as the next president of the US, certainly not after this uncertainty got completely removed after December, 19th. In short, the facts don't add up to your theory

I think trump will not affect the performance of the current bitcoin. our years of bitcoin is a global digital currency to very strong.
this will not give any effect. bitcoin will still have its own existence.

Well yeah I think that Trump being the USA president and bitcoin don't relate to each other, and it seems to be that he doesn't have any bad intention for bitcoin so why do we have to worry that much. And besides, bitcoin is too strong for Trump alone to affect it negatively and because it has good purpose, why would he ever want to put an end to it  Grin

No, with Trump becoming president there are many expectation that the American economy might go down which will bring down the USD along with it, and this is great news for bitcoin users because than people will start searching for the best alternative in this case the bitcoin.
