I can imagine one thing:
Trump says he will deregulate the banking system. That would mean they can work again like before the crises in 2007.
And that will mean as well that they will make a lot of money the coming years. So banks won't see bitcoin as a competition anymore (I'm not sure if they ever really did).
Any rumors spread from their side will vanish. I think it will lead to an even more stable bitcoin.

The US is already in a bubble and more than likely it's going to have to bust at some point in time.  Janet Yellen (current head of the Federal Reserve) has been keeping interest rates low throughout the rest of Obama's term which has made the economy look good to everyone else who is not paying attention.  People aren't hurting that badly, and are finding it affordable to get loans from banks to buy a new house, car, etc. they might "need" at the moment; so at this moment, every one seems to be kinda happy-ish.

But the sad reality is that the fed, and same goes for all central banks, are heavily politicized and basically controls everything in the economy, whether it's domestic or global.  So, since Yellen has been known to be in close cahoots with Obama; you can bet she is going to want to jack up the interest rates.  It's not only necessary to stabilize the economy in the long term, but it also makes the POTUS look like he is doing a bad job... which is a win-win for Janet.

Trump will be busy trying to fix (maybe, I wish him to do so) current rotten banking system first. He said he will take a look at it to avoid another crisis similar to that  from 2008.
As for the Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general I doubt he will do anything about it. I have a feeling that he would prefer to stay back from BTC for now.
Wait it out until it will be actually wise to take some kind of regulating actions.

Since the election of Trump to the new US President yesterday, many questions about Bitcoin arise.

Will he promote Bitcoin and make it a breakthrough? Will he even officially ban Bitcoin? Will he make such a bad economic (and monetary) policy that Bitcoin will be seen as an alternative for many?

What do you think, what will a President Trump mean for Bitcoin?

I guess is that the effect of Trump on bitcoin will be indirect. He will most likely focus on other businesses. However, the level of uncertainty is definitely high!

I guess trump will not focus on bitcoin but on trumpcoin. As of this moment trumpcoin has not grown through a hype but instead it grows naturally. BUt since Trump is the president the coin will likely rise and will continue to flourish. But it still needs time for it to grow naturally but i believe that in time it will rise in price and so i think this coin has a future and it is wise to get hold of this coin at this moment.

Bitcoin might be affected by what kind of regulatory environment the incoming Trump Administration will create. What Trump thinks about financial regulation and the technology and how much trouble or chaos will he make. Whatever his moves that will affect bitcoin is remain to be seen. If there is onething that move the bitcoin price upward; it is the uncertainty as we've seen in the past like Brexit for example.

What the fuck about Trump coin? But what are you say seems like quite jokes for me? You told me from all of your sentences are referring if the Trump is like official coins?
That's just got some pumping caused by the trump election and nothing, about the real trump and trump coins.

you do realize that Donald Trump has nothing to do with Trump coin which is an altcoin created by some random dudes who wanted to use the hype to pump and dump their altcoin (or better said shitcoin which is a copy paste code)

It is still to early to predict what is going to happen in the next few months or years but most of them here are true that trump is a real deal in business and i also do think that he sees bitcoin as an opportunity so predictions would go much more on the positive side i guess.

Absolutely, since he'll be focusing on returning the economy of america to the old way, no wars like Killary Clinton or Barack Osama.

i really don't know what is president trump thinking about bitcoin, maybe he don't know anything about bitcoin and only heard that bitcoin can help many people and the economic or he know already about bitcoin and make it secret from anybody. but if president trump is a good president, then i think he will make a good regulation about bitcoin and will make a statement about accepting bitcoin for US country.

Lets just see then but most of us here already said that trump seems not to care too much about bitcoin. But as i have said it is still to early to predict

All it does can be done by the President on the latest USA, however I think Trump will be more favourably on people who can contribute to the good of the country he leads. So I think it will not affect the growth of the bitcoin, because I think trump will support the growth of the bitcoin because he has a lot of interests that require speed in dealing with a very low fee. Just wait and see in the future. Hopefully not give negative impact

Trump is pro America. This means that he wants freedom for everyone to do business.

Bitcoin is about freer business. This means that Trump will like the idea of Bitcoin expanding.

Trump also wants to uphold all of America, including her promises to people like retirees (who paid in to Social Security, and are living off the SS payments they worked for all their lives), and to people like veterans (who gave their lives and service for America). Trump will want to get welfare people off the roles if they really don't deserve the welfare.

Bitcoin, as it now exists, can mess up the American financial system so that America can't pay her dues to those to whom she owes. So, because Bitcoin is a rather free stumbling block against the thing the banks and fiat have become, you can expect that Trump will start a method for making Bitcoin an official way for America to remain in financial strength.

It won't be easy. The banking Ponzi has been built over a period of more than 100 years. It might take longer than Trump's two-term tenure to get things straightened out again. Remember, if he goes for 2 terms, he'll be into his 90s.

Overall, I expect that if someone doesn't crack the encryption of the blockchain, that the near future outlook will be good for Bitcoin. In addition, there is a good chance that Bitcoin could become the money of America and the world. If this happens, even the satoshi will need to be divided, and those who have even ONE bitcoin will be very well to do in the future.

Well, that's an interesting viewpoint. I would have figured you as more of a "one world money leads to the antichrist and end of days" kind of person. Did Jesus tell you that in a dream or did you make that shit up on your own?

I won't be so sure of that. Trump is a lot of talk but he has promised too much to be able to act on his promises. we'll see how his presidency pans out but prepare to be disappointed when he turns out to be just another politician.

i think president don't care about bitcoin and i am sure that he don't know about it
everything he do , bitcoiner will keep and use bitcoin
But American government always care about bitcoin system. I have read in recent news that they are looking into how they will consider and handle bitcoin ecosystem in their policies across all the states, maybe a common policy for all states. So, the new president will come to know a lot about it, lets just wait and hear what they have planned.

What do you think, what will a President Trump mean for Bitcoin?
i think president don't care about bitcoin and i am sure that he don't know about it
everything he do , bitcoiner will keep and use bitcoin
I think you are right, Trump does not care about bitcoin. However, the economy, traders and many people who relate to the economy do care about Trump, which means every Trump's movement can easily make a big impact on the world economy as well as currencies. This leads to the result that Bitcoin is also be affected by Trump. Therefore, Trump basically means something to Bitcoin

I do not think it is going to do much of anything for bitcoin.  I never even heard that he is involved in it for any reason.  Why would someone think he has an opinion?  If he could find a way to make money with it, I am sure he would, but I do not think this is his cup of tea.

Do not ever expect a government body to help bitcoin or in that sense any crypto currency in near future. Bitcoin is hurting the banks and the black marketers a lot and they are the ones trying to spread FUD about it as well.

Trump belongs to this category as well and any other government official of any country. Their talks of supporting bitcoin and blockchain based technology are simply "Vote Collecting" techniques.
