Just in case, in 1934 (if I'm not mistaken), the American government (on Roosevelt's order) had been confiscating gold from their citizens under the threat of criminal prosecution of up to ten years in jail, and numerous people got actually prosecuted for illegal "hoarding of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates within the continental United States". So the American citizens shouldn't get surprised if something like that might eventually happen to them again (e.g. an event like the Cyprus haircut). Let's see then what will become of the "confidence in their democracy and their system and their money"

If he just let people use it it's enough for me. I want bitcoin as it is now and that continues this way for a long time. I don't want governments, presidents taxing bitcoins or any other thing of this kind.
I don't know if Trump likes bitcoin, but it's being very helpful for the chineses, and chineses can become the new biggest world potency.

I'm not defending Trump, to make things clear right at the start. I'm just analyzing your theory. First, Trump is not an Idaho farmer, he is a New York construction tycoon after all, who was born and raised in Queens at that (a New York borough for those who don't know). So you can't possibly claim that he is a wealthy redneck from Idaho or any such place by any means. It seems that you draw this conclusion based on his look, i.e. from his red face as if it were weather-beaten. Second, Trump may look and behave like a clown, but to get better understanding of his inner self you may want to read his earlier interviews which he gave long before his presidential campaign. I refer mostly to his 1990 Playboy magazine interview. He doesn't look or speak like a clown in it

Magazines articles aren't captured live like recorded footage. They're easier to pay someone to fake. I didn't mean he was an Idaho farmer. You say that he doesn't have the experience as a POTUS. But you can't possibly say that he lacks experience as a businessman. This basically means that in no case you can claim he is a fool either since "a fool and his money are soon parted". He is told to have gone for bankruptcy 4 times, but I guess he was just hiding his wealth from the IRS. Given he is not in jail (and as far as I know has never even been close to), we should decidedly admit that he is a smart guy after all, despite all his defiant rhetoric (few can mess with the IRS and not get under press eventually). So, can't he really control his own tongue as he appears to be?

Here's some logic:  If Trump is a dumbass, then those who support him are dumbasses too.  Trump is a dumbass.  Therefore, those who support him are dumbasses.  It's pretty much that simple!

As we all know that bitcoin has progressed a lot since it was released and here in 2017 we saw the price of bitcoin was 1000+ USD which is 5x of the price was in 2015.
So what do you think it will be in 2018.

Price is going to Tank, because BTC is going to get caught in the middle of a trade war between the US & China.

China will try to use their control over BTC to use against the USA as Leverage over areas that China wants to claim as territory in the South China Sea.

If you are a US Citizen and hold BTC expect the Chinese to block all transactions trying to force the US to comply with their wishes on territory disputes,
Trump will not blink and will not yield , no matter if China Blocks all BTC transactions.

Everyone better cash out to US $ if they want to protect their capital before this battle between the Titans begins, then it will be too late.

Personally I think that Trump/Puting with make a new Glasnost  and our new Exxon CEO Sec of State and complete the 500 billion artic. deal. Putin, Exxon and probably Trump get much richer. Cooperation on Isis is a likely scenario. Or something involving Crimea or UKraine. These are just my opinions and I might be completely wrong. The Russian economy needs a injection of cash. And Hitlery would start a military invasion for no reason at all. That is the reason why I supported Trump during the POTUS elections in 2016. 2)  Trumps policy of confiscating foreign oil as the spoils of war is more likely to start world conflict than not.
3)  Trumps move to defund and isolate the USA from NATO will affect more than just the USA....
