yes I think like that, so let's not assume that the election of Donald Trump will affect bitcoin existence for the future. because bitcoin has the nature of his own authority.

The election of Donald Trump as the POTUS will definitely have its effect, albeit a smaller one. For example, he is more likely than Hillary to allow Bitcoin exchanges and other businesses to operate legally. This can increase the user base of Bitcoins in the United States, thereby increasing the exchange rate.

i think president don't care about bitcoin and i am sure that he don't know about it
everything he do , bitcoiner will keep and use bitcoin
But American government always care about bitcoin system. I have read in recent news that they are looking into how they will consider and handle bitcoin ecosystem in their policies across all the states, maybe a common policy for all states. So, the new president will come to know a lot about it, lets just wait and hear what they have planned.

I follow a summary of Bitcoin relevant news daily, but this news is unknown to me. Could you share a link to the source, please? Also, I have not seen any discussion about it yet, although it would definitely be worth it, as I believe this will have a great positive impact on Bitcoin.

The poster you replied to might refer to a resolution calling for the development of "a national technology innovation policy" which the US Congress passed in this September. It basically says that the US should promote the development of alternative technologies that encourage consumer commerce through using digital non-fiat currencies and blockchain technology as well as protect their assets (or something along these lines)...

Though I wouldn't consider this news as very recent (or very important, for that matter)

It is difficult to say.

On the one hand, Donald Trump has described Bitcoin as something positive in the past and Peter Thiel - one of his closest consultants - is a Bitcoin enthusiast. On the other hand, there is his unpredictable character.

I think he did not understand Bitcoin correctly, and if he would understand it completely, he would know that Bitcoin stands in the way of a debt-financed economic policy.

I think when he learns about bitcoins and learn the possibilities it has, I think he will see it as an opportunity to grow and extend his reach (economically). Well, if he's that kind of person anyway. But he really doesn't need that but I know he can buy majority of bitcoins.  Cheesy

Haha, I can imagine that he did. However, I've been thinking a bit more about it and I believe that he will try to weaken the dollar as soon as he has control over the FED. There are already rumors that Janet Yellen will resign after Trump became assigned president. Then all monetary locks will be opened.

Well I think what you just said is illegal, when Donald Trump buys the majority of Bitcoin, then use his powers as a President to makes its price and demand rise. Being a President of any country must be able to think about the Citizens first before his/her personal gain. Well honestly Trump is Rich, But we don't know what will happen if Trump has more power when he becomes the President.

I think though President Trump term in office as the president of USA, will have great effect on btc....its of two way, it will be fine if he accepts the use of bitcoin, given opportunity for a steady growth i economy and in usage of btc, it can also go along helping the poor ones to make or earn a living and btc business will be carried out with more income and profits......and secondly if he disagrees with the use of it, it will really affect btc business or economy and reduce the use of btc....it will cause harm affect on peoples business and daily living with bitcoin!!!!!!

Trump already has an influence on Bitcoin. Look only at the value development since his election and the strong dollar will plunge emerging countries into economic turmoil.

let's hope trump will not take a significant policies against bitcoin ,
afaik hillary clinton have a plan to set certain rules about bitcoin ,
but if you noticed since firt time trump campaign there is no specific thing about bitcoin ,
it is just people's speculation to make bitcoin go up for big crash later  Huh

At least it means a change in the economic policy of the U.S. And that change may be beneficial or not. Time will tell.

I hope it's beneficial, we shall see it in the future as the new president seems to be very aggressive and hopeful to make america great once again. The  improvement in the economy might affect bitcoin because people will trust fiat again and we know US has a big investors who are in bitcoins.

I don't know if Trump's election will give affect to bitcoin or not. But if it does, I hope it will gave positive effect rather than negative one. If Trump make regulations to bitcoin, it will affect globally since USA is one of major country.

Before the election Donald Trump spoke good about Bitcoin. It is sad that he did not give a statement about its financial policy yet. I think there are more important things to do first like finding the right people for his team. After then we will know what his plans are with financial instruments like Bitcoin and block chain.

I don't know if Trump's election will give affect to bitcoin or not. But if it does, I hope it will gave positive effect rather than negative one. If Trump make regulations to bitcoin, it will affect globally since USA is one of major country.

And on what do you base this conclusion? I don't think it would matter too much, even if Hillary was elected, Bitcoin would still be able to exist, same with Trump.

Even with extra legislation around Bitcoin, it would change very little imo.

all things that happen will not change the growth of bitcoin. for all of the people or the Government could not take over the bitcoin with a quick, because it's owner was not known so that they will be hard-pressed to make a law about bitcoin in order removal. All the things that exist in the bitcoin will still be done as long as the owner can control the well or may not be in collapse

Since the election of Trump to the new US President yesterday, many questions about Bitcoin arise.

Will he promote Bitcoin and make it a breakthrough? Will he even officially ban Bitcoin? Will he make such a bad economic (and monetary) policy that Bitcoin will be seen as an alternative for many?

What do you think, what will a President Trump mean for Bitcoin?
i doubt it changes anything for bitcoin, until he announces any changes for digital currencies that is. But when he won the election we saw a huge spike in the price of bitcoin because everyone was switching currencies to bitcoin.

Why would she want to resign if her term officially ends only in 2018? Trump didn't select her (she was selected by Obama), so he has no right to remove her from office, if I'm not mistaken. Given that Trump will have strong opposition in Washington, it is unlikely to happen before her term comes to an end due to "natural" causes. And we may well expect many of his decisions being openly sabotaged by the officials that he can't substitute with his own candidates till their terms end...

On the other hand, he certainly has a few candidates to take her place

I guess he may choose to appoint even two Fed chairmen (or chairwomen, for that matter) at once

Well, Trump is not a friend to the globalists and globalists, of which the big banks are a major part of, pretty much want to control the world's money and business.
