Nope for me zcash is just a scam coin this is really expensive when you are going into market and see the price of zcash if you are going to buy it and wait again for the price increase then you're like throwing your money in garbage hahaha without any emotion lmao don't invest on this coin.

-Team X plans to launch only 100 copies of this self operational Mars touring machine.
-Without seeing or using the machine,all the rich brats pre-order the machine as they had ample of cash to invest and they look at it as an opportunity to re-sell their limited edition product to other rich brats.
-Reality,machine was never launched.On Further investigations machine didn't actually take anyone to Mars,it just gave them a virtual tour.500 more machines were produced.The prices fell,other 500 rich brats invested in the limited edition virtual mars tour machine.The vicious cycle continues!

I don't believe in Zcash. Even though i saw that coin in a exchanger site and has a very high price it doesn't change my mind. For me, Zcash is just another type of hype where newbie traders or investors is one of their target because in my opinion, a real altcoin or crypto-currency always start from the bottom and it builds trust during years and not only a week or even days. Zcash is just a hype and it will be turn to scam later, Stay away from that coin.

At first, when I saw the high price of ZCash, I thought that it was going to surpass Bitcoin in marketcap ranking, but as days passed since launch, prices started to decline, leaving Bitcoin as the champion in price and marketcap. It just turned out it was just overhyped, but I'm glad that markets are starting to reflect the true value of ZEC nowadays.

Speaking about the launch of Zcash, I was surprised to see that it only offered a command line wallet that could only be executed on Linux, which makes it difficult for newcomers to get into the cryptocurrency. Most cryptocoins have GUI wallet, at launch so why has it been something missed out on ZEC? In my own opinion, I think that the phase of the command line wallet should've been during the beta/testnet. That way, when launching ZCash, they would've had a user friendly wallet to help attract non-tech savvy users into it.

Anyways, it is nice to see the real facts about an specific altcoin before considering to invest into it. Just my opinion.

It is better to wait when there is some good application of the ZCash. You might earn too much, but it is safer.

that is what happens when people buy into the hype, the hype gets bigger and bigger and it helps the pump. people used to say Zcash is going to replace bitcoin,... in the early days and I admit it was interesting to see some altcoin finally more expensive than bitcoin but even then I knew it is not going to last long because a hype can only push the price up but is never capable of keeping it there.

People who bought at insane high price must be crying now. I was shocked to see the rate for 1 ZEC when it was launched, glad that I did not jump into to blood bath. Zcash is now trying to bounce back up from 60 levels and I think it may stay range bound for now. Once supply grows it may crash even further since I don't expect demand to pick up as we already have lots of zcash forks in the market.

Exactly. This happens usually when there is a new altcoin around the block, but as soon as people realize that it is nothing more like the others, then prices start to decline. Honestly, if it wasn't for the founder's reward then I think ZCash would've been able to gain more traction. But other than that, I prefer to invest into a ZCash fork or even the original Zcoin where I could get the same privacy features for less.

Still, it would be interesting to see what would happen to ZCash in the following months in terms of price stability. If it aims to provide solid development and innovation, then I think that it could survive the long term. Nevertheless, I'm glad that Zero Knowledge Proof technology has finally become a reality, and hope that it could be put out to good use for the future of cryptocurrencies. Just my opinion.

There is two possibilities, The current price of zcash will very cheap if they will get a big pump in the future.

The two We may not know about the future of zcash, Zprice may increase or not.

I got the alt plan, buy some at the current and keep a half of your amount for the future. but the chance of lost was getting stable at 50:50.

Amazed on how so many put so much faith in this alt coin and yes it was considered an alt coin although some saw it as something different being it's own entity not needing anything else.
All of these types rely on bitcoin and will always rely on it.
Just surprised it devalue to that amount before the November 30th deadline.

People who bought at 1-2+ btc are 100% crying atm. But a coin with as much hype as zcash will surely get a pump going. Someone who bought high will pump it so he can exit.

There is place and market for Zcash but it the present price is crazy, I will wait for the mining reward to level out and if there is any dark market adoption I will get into it or if the price hit $10 which I still believe is a fair price for the token not $70 that it is now

It is better to wait when there is some good application of the ZCash. You might earn too much, but it is safer.

i am sure i will waiting but if its still to expensive to buy, i will not buy zcash, better i am searching another coins to make profit rather than to buy zcash. if we only have small funds, it will not good if we trying to push to buy expensive coins, because once we buy, if the price is drop, we can handle the loss.

but i heard that zcash now is split or something like that, i don't know what the dev called, has 2 other coins which is zcash classic, zdash, i am curious about this two coins.
