KNC 16nm tape-out completed is big Lie.
Sounds like you dont know what tape out means. It basically means they finished the design, and its all in the hands of the fab. You provided no evidence at all they didnt tape out when they said they did. Further more, what TSMC calls mass production (which is delayed) has precious little to do with bitcoin asics. TSMC do 100's of 1000's of wafer starts per month, perhaps as much as half a million. A few dozen bitcoin wafers is most definitely not mass production to TSMC. That said, KnC may well be impacted be the delay, I have no clue, but it doesnt hurt to have the facts right.

Nov 2014
TSMC already had good yields on 16nm finfet Asics a few months ago already.
"One of a handful of downsides of shifting to 16nm FinFET, and indeed every new node, is the potential for low yields. Mature processes do not struggle with yield issues, and these issues tend to take a much bigger toll on complex, large chips such as high-end GPUs. Yield issues mean that manufacturers simply get more faulty dies per wafer, pushing the unit price of healthy dies up.
However, this problem is usually faced when dealing with high-volume chips, as poor yields can quickly erode the chipmaker’s margins. Bitcoin ASICs are a low-volume affair with a very short lifecycle, so any potential issues will most likely be outweighed by superior performance. Additionally, TSMC has made previous claims that its 16nm FinFET yields are good.
Chips built using the latest manufacturing processes also tend to cost somewhat more than those built on mature nodes, but once again the price premium is outweighed by superior performance, even in consumer chips, let alone bitcoin ASICs."
Regardless of the 16nm debate. Others are getting excellent results from 28nm still. I expect Bitfury or KNC to to have their next gen chips running in the next 30-45 days, just watch the hashrate.

Just paid ~$226 ($299.92 NZD) import duty for my bonus Neppy (scheduled for delivery on 2 March). The declared value was $1,370.
I must admit, I had a moment there thinking... is it worth paying $300 for this thing? Then I just paid it. It'll be handy for the coming winter here in the Southern hemisphere.
Would have been awesome to get this back in August 2014. Now... not so much.

KNC has alot of room after they are finishing sending off the Neptunes: and they came from the Farm not the factory hmmm
"Now that we’ve delivered most of our 20nm Neptune Bitcoin Miners we’ve got overcapacity from the expired ”Plan B - Hash While You Wait” offers. These were all delivered from our 28nm 7+PH/s Clear Sky mining farm in the north of Sweden. Now for a limited time we’re selling that overcapacity in packaged online mining contracts."

It seems that KNC is holding to their word. I just received an UPS confirmation that my 2nd free miner is being shipped.
I am batch2 customer, I may just sell it though when it gets where to recoup some of the money.

You will find that KNC will not accept the miner back. Your better off just paying the duty and selling it.

If KnC declares the value of their good as 1370, it would be interesting to know what was paid for the good.

Its funny how they value this bonus batch as 90% lower than original batch 1.
But this is what they are selling for on ebay $900-$1300

For Titan Users they just pop'd info (source only from what I can tell) for a new Titan Firmware 2.00 https://github.com/KnCMiner/titan/releases/tag/v2.00again no .bin file yet or release per say but it does have the following fixes v2.00 1) BFGMiner revision 5.1.0; 2) Fixes to the BFGMiner driver which decrease the number of Rejects; 3) Special voltage fix for some ill-behaving boards. Improves stability and prevents dies from going off; 4) fix: ASIC is not shown on Advanced page when all dies are turned OFF. again just the source is available for download....me ...I'll have to wait for the .bin file to do anything I guess. anyway for those with a Titan

including psu that's close to a brand new SP31 which does 4.9TH. And what you are selling is most probably very used.
