3 million coins

What if one day 1 MOON is worth multiple dollars just like Bitcoin? That would mean many MOON millionaires.

I don't think it's possible though. But I'll check this post in 5 years and see if anything has happened.

I have about 17k MOON but I don't know if I want to buy millions..

Hello Everyone,

I was browsing some boards and came accross this.
[
We have received a lot of requests. Want some GCN. Don't fancy using an exchange

Buy GCN directly. $14 per GCN 5,000,000

Paypal greg@greglab.com and email your wallet details. Max $28 per month.

email for bank transfer details. No maximum.

If we could let people buy MOON the same way through paypal I think that would be great, as we could probably get more investors.  I know with me being from the USA it is extremely hard for me to get bitcoins sinse circle shut down the one that i can use the exchange rate is like 40 % not worth it and coinbase will not verify my ID even know it is brand new.

New people to the crypt world i think will have the same issues.  Personally if I could buy moon everyweek with paypal i would.  On a side note anyone have better exchanges to buy bitcoin in the united states.

Thank you
Adam

A surprise may occur for MoonCoin on the Anniversary of the Moon landing (July 20th 1969)

Or maybe we will have to wait till the 50th Anniversary in a couple of years time Cheesy

For people who do not believe in the mooncoin project look here:

http://www.planetary.org/explore/space-topics/space-missions/missions-to-the-moon.html

A lot of missions planned to the moon this year and in the next years.

Great opportunity for the mooncoin community to participate! To The Moon!

HELP!

I'm new to this, and confused a bit - a couple of questions please!

I use MOONCOIN CORE WALLET.
I can see my mooncoin balance and I am able to send them.

Question 1:

How do I see or find my Private Key?

Question 2:

Is my Private Key and wallet password all I need to "backup" my wallet?

Question 3:

Are the actual Mooncoins on the Blockchain accessible by using a wallet and private key, or do mooncoin totals reside in the wallet?

Thanks for any answers!

What is the status regarding to getting listed on Yobit? I mean, all dead coins get listed on Yobit, why shouldn't Moon get listed? Is there a reason for it? Getting listed on Yobit could mean a good rise in price (although that's not a guarentee)

Does anyone here speak / write Mandarin? Might be an idea to try and get listed on some Chinese exchanges. The Moon is deeply rooted into Chinese culture, they even have a Moon festival.

From https://www.chinlingo.com/daily/ChineseCulture/20150926/EB70F3F0D544E98CAB4F3184E0D02E25.html

"In Chinese minds, the moon is associated with gentleness and brightness, expressing the beautiful yearnings of the Chinese. On the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, the moon is full and it is time to mark the Moon Festival, or the Mid-Autumn Festival. The round shape symbolizes family reunion. Therefore, the day is a holiday for family members to get together and enjoy the full moon - an auspicious token of abundance, harmony, and luck.

The moon has special meaning in China. Many Chinese legends are related with the moon, and the most typical one is 'chang e ben yue' (嫦娥奔月,the Goddess Chang E flying to the moon), which is known to almost every Chinese. The moon also appears in lots of Chinese poems, which means that the poet is missing his home, friends or the beloved."

Hi all,

Apologies for the absence, i have been quite active over on the Mooncoin Discord.

A status update:

a) Mooncoin ported over to Litecoin 13.3 codebase with segwit.

b) PoW algorithm has been changed from scrypt to a custom algo lyra2m (Lyra2 Moon). I've received confirmation from a seasoned opencl programmer that even if a GPU miner was written; it would have zero advantage over a CPU.

c) Diff retargetting code has been updated to a slightly modified Dual_KGW3 (with some 'spacing code' added to smooth the difficulty between algorithms - required). I have posted several graphs showing DK3's magic at work:

d) People have been complaining as to how long the chain takes to sync from scratch (one user mentioned a day or two); i've implemented my own style of 'warpsync' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgv6v4-QAfA) which peaks around 200 blocks per second. On average, on a core2quad 2.33 with a 'weak' Australian 25/5 connection; the chain can be sync'd in scratch in approximately 34 minutes. Will actually be much faster for most users.

e) I've included the option to run a compressed blockchain (for those interested, google BUIP017) however im not playing too much importance on it until everything is running perfectly.

f) Native Moonlite in-wallet integration.
