Definitely a scam, they used 50 millions usd for equity and stock investment, why they use our fund to invest? They will not pay dividends. Tezos is not capital or fund, it is violating the laws.

so this turned to be a scam in the end? i didn't lost much just 0.2 btc, but i know somethign was fishy here, and i invested a little because of this, there is any chance that it can be recovered? i see that they had issue with their government

No the ICO was uncapped so for the 2 weeks it ran tokens were sold with no restrictions

I also think that there won't be any problem. They'll get over this issue somehow. And I think it's better that they faced this problem at this stage.

That last one is a good point, better that this issue surfaces before anything is released so that it's cleared up once the network launches. I will be a smudge on the project, but not so much on the launch. Hope they will solve it fast and cleanly though, this tech is so promising

This isn't the sort of problem that just goes hidden causing future issues. The entire project is basically on hold waiting for Gevers to be thrown out on his ass so funding towards dev can be spent.
Imagine hiring an accountant and giving him power of attorney over your assets, then you catch him trying to steal and he responds by locking up your assets and telling you to go pound sand. This situation at least on the surface looks kind of like that.
Just looking at this from an outsiders pov, I think Gevers should be jailed. Admittedly there may be things I'm not aware or don't understand because I'm not close to the situation. I wish the investigators would hurry up and issue their findings so this can move forward

1) Arthur said that funding development is approved from the foundation and will be paid out. However, no numbers known!

2) Gevers not have any control of the money, of course there is a security in place that doesn't give control of the funds to only 1 person.

What are you correcting me on? bottom line is no ico funds have been spent on dev in 4 months all because of the 3 person council, who Gevers is the head of, not allowing it. Is my understanding of this wrong?
