Here comes a new version with major improvements for CUDA ETH mining:

- added DAG cache host memory storage for quicker DAG switches
- speed improvements for all CUDA algorithms for certain cards
- CUDA faster DAG generation
- bug fixes for AMD cards
- added option to disable AMD support

djeZo and dropky worked really hard on it. Enjoy!

Hi guys, since couple of users requested to have the startup parameters configurable in the GUI, i am creating a settings section in the GUI to handle this.

So far it looks like this:

Is there anything critical that people would like to see here, or is it "good enough" for now?

Hi for all. I'm trying to mining ETH with excavator on Ethermine or nanopool but then I push to "Start job" I get " Net error: JSON member missing: "error" ". May be I'm doing something wrong?

Ethermine and nanopool not supported stratum protocol Excavator. Only NiceHash and Suprnova.cc.

hmmm and how it must be configured for supernova.cc? where I have to write Worker ID and PW?

you use job identifier as worker ID and you can set password in pools section
the next version of the GUI will have some of those fields renamed for easier setup for suprnova

I hope this screenshot helps a little

I think it mostly depends on the algorithm that you are using, are you running daggerhashimoto?

Sure, i left the conversation here as i thought i could help both people with GUI and without GUI at the same place, but if its becoming too extensive for the official thread, i will definitely create my own thread.
Sorry for any inconvenience/spam caused Sad

Hi,
I'm new in using excavator. Im just curious if there is a settings in increasing/decreasing intensity of algo when dual mining?(in claymore +/-)
I'm using only one GTX 1060 for this.
Because when Im doing dual with ETH-SIA, eth hashrate drops from 22.xxMH/s in solo into 10.xx MH/s.
My current config in dual mining:
Code:
[
{"time":0,"commands":[
{"id":1,"method":"algorithm.add","params":["daggerhashimoto","daggerhashimoto.eu.nicehash.com:3353","3Pxy58DuUHYsCvUAKkA8Lg7CiYmtmo3Yns.gpurig1"]},
{"id":2,"method":"algorithm.add","params":["sia","sia.eu.nicehash.com:3360","3Pxy58DuUHYsCvUAKkA8Lg7CiYmtmo3Yns.gpurig1"]}
]},
{"time":3,"commands":[
{"id":1,"method":"worker.add","params":["0","0"]},
{"id":1,"method":"worker.add","params":["1","0"]}
]},
{"time":10,"loop":10,"commands":[
{"id":1,"method":"algorithm.print.speeds","params":[]}
]}
]

Another thing, how can you see your projected daily proifit? Because in using NH miner, there's an indication there.

Thanks!

Thank you, that's very sweet to say :-)

@Ginru
For daggerhashimoto only nicehash and suprnova are supported (for now).
For equihash i think all pools are supported (i personally use zcash.flypool.org) and it has been working very well for me.

Edit:
I created a thread that will cover just the Excavator GUI - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2009353
This should free up this thread from GUI related questions.

I also released a new version of the GUI (again, most changes were requested by either users here or through github ticket system).
Enjoy!

Code:
08.07.2017 @ 0.4
- Added Settings section
- Added "Start Excavator GUI on Windows Startup" functionality (disabled by default)
- Excavator console & file logging levels are now configurable in the GUI
- Excavator AMD support is now configurable in the GUI (disabled by default)
- Backup Pool threshold is now configurable (15-300 seconds)
- Job share counters will now reset only when necessary
- AMD Support disabled by default (Can be enabled in Settings section)
- Adjusted some input fields to allow more clearer setup for suprnova

it's ridiculous how things changed over last years, once free open source miners now replaced with closed, fee based miners released for windows and on top of it now we should beg for linux releases. sad...
