Support wont do anything about it unless I sign a message with a bitcoin address but I never posted one. It's kind of an arcane policy.

Ridiculous isn't it? I lost my account too, had to create this one. No one will do jack shit for me because I haven't signed an address.... it's simply asinine.

I also cannot get back control of my old account.

I did have a signed address (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2143503.msg21441448#msg21441448) and provided proof to the mods but was just flatly ignored so don’t see the point in using a signed address. Others have had success though (Yefi for one I believe). Perhaps my lowly Sr member status at the time was viewed to be not worthy of saving?

Holy shit. I think I'm unofficially retired as of an hour ago.

It hasn't hit me yet.

Making it official with a select group tomorrow, then telling my direct manager on Friday.

Wow.

I can't believe I actually pulled this plan off...

Congratulations Bob.
You seem like a nice guy, I hope your retirement will be a pleasant one, please keep us updated.

Another quiet night on Hairy's channel watch as badger waltzes down the middle of the aisle.  Is the blushing bride feeling momentarily skittish as she approaches the altar?

Nice the only good news for the Wall Obs today is about Bob retiring.  Grin

Below not good news
South Korea economic policymaker Jung Ki-Joon found dead in his home. He was one of the main government advisors for cryptocurrency matters. Probably a heart attack.
He was the single most important contributor to the recent KYC/AML crackdown on South Korean exchanges.
Hm. Hm. Don't know what to think. Bullish? Bearish? Dontgiveafuckish?
Was it really his heart, or something he drank/ate?
I'm beginning to sound like Torque, I know, but but...

Been summoned to a family lunch today. Least Favourite Daughter-in-Law wants 'to have a serious talk'. Can't seem to find my chequebook, but am sure that won't matter. Mustn't be late.

I’m in Cape Verde (just waiting for coach back to airport) with inlaws which has been paid for by us (they’re cheap bastards). Can’t wait to get home now tbh Grin

Nothing to worry about for the moment, the resistance is just a bit tougher than we thought.

Some people clearly don't want the BTC grow above 11K.
