People are rallying because of this?http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1ymb4r/some_light_on_the_horizon_for_gox/

Unbelievable, anything to get the party started.

Massive bull trap.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

As always first panic and then they calm down to see why they paniced. In this case over a rumour and if it stays a rumour we'll simply go down again.
I think i said it before. This market is completely stupid.

Could be.  But hope has been in short supply, if it's true, it's pretty good news.

Limit changes at Gox is a good indicator, and the reddit stuff seems reasonably credible.

I find it weird it's not rising quicker on gox. Everyone with gox $ should be racing to buy

That post is from a few hours ago. This move instead is way too sudden. Something must have changed in the Gox interface that triggered it. Someone suggested a change in their withdrawal limits. I don't have a Gox account handy anymore. Can anyone confirm please?

Whatever it is, Fiatleak is going totally crazy - money is piling in - so if it is a bulltrap, it will hurt.

Looks like a real rally just now...

BTC : You can still withdraw up to 100.00000000 BTC provided you have enough on your account (your limit is 100.00000000 BTC per 24 hours )
EUR : You can still withdraw up to 1,000.00000 € provided you have enough on your account (your limit is 1,000.00000 € per 24 hours and 10,000.00000 € per 30 days)

Thanks  Wink that's how I remember it so no change, I think.

Now my other theory is that someone tried BTC withdrawals and... they got through.

EDIT: clarified that those are same limits as before

That's the standard text but that doesn't mean withdrawals have been re-enabled.

The gox rally is bizarre and artificial. No reason to increase therefore it will crash down like it skyrocketed up in a few minutes
