Aren't we stuck in this price range for the past several weeks now while ETH has been going leaps and bounds, waiting for the dumpers though so they can move back to bitcoin

I don't mind bitcoin getting a little bit of stability. And the current price range is rather good if you compare it to what we had only a few months back so I don't feel like complaining ^^ You can't reach the moon if you don't take a rest from time to time

Peer review. Well. The important thing in all that is that I never heard of Hashcash but I know bitcoin for good! The main difference is perhaps here, one of the two only is used by an important part of the world's population :p

Or perhaps they are periodic settlements of arbitrage trade, generated by Blockstream's Liquid tool.
Interesting point. How prevalent is the use of Liquid among Chinese exchanges? ( assuming your figures were limited to them) I would have thought that any good settlement system should make almost zero impact on the market unless its strongly directional.

Hmm, only $3 more growth for ETH (+53%) and it reaches 1/10th of Bitcoins market capitalization and there doesn't seem to be any serious dumps comming...

Hmm, only $3 more growth for ETH (+53%) and it reaches 1/10th of Bitcoins market capitalization and there doesn't seem to be any serious dumps comming... ethereum confuses me...unless it is billing itself the 'anti-bitcoin' among newbies/corp types..then I guess it makes some kinda sense ...bringing new folk/money into crypto but essentially don't get it ...to me looks like a pump (maybe new players being drawn into crypto on the FOMO principle) but again even say if ethereum as a coin has some good ideas ...what is to stop btc (or ltc) from that manner of their devs just saying 'cool' and upsurging those ideas and incorporate them into their bigger network and market cap? (stealing ideas is the human way to punch up a product/idea) again unless all the traction for ethereum is to 'stop' the evil bitcoin from masses of folk that believe the gov't/press/banker/ FUD on such
