Bitcoin is unfolding like the dotcom crash — just 15 times fasterEdit: Amazon crashed from a high of over $100, to a low of about $10 in 2000. 18 years later, they hit $1,578. If we apply the same recovery gain percentage to the recent bitcoin low of ~$6,000, and assume 15x recovery speed, we'd hit ~$946,000 in Apr. 2019. This is all based on questionable math and a clickbait article, but still fun to think about. $946k per btc in about a year? if that comes true I will buy a lambo for everyone that merits this post. Oh yes! Why not! I give you some Merits in exchange for a Lambo.. you can have all it all.

Ironic that everyone here wants a Lambo yet has utter contempt for Roger Ver and CSW: The only two narcissistic shitheads in the crypto space that actually drive those tool wagons. LOL. Do they ? TIL ! I think Goat drives one too, speaking of tool wagons. Goat’s one started all this IIRC, but he didn’t drive it - he just containered it home to Thailand where he could sell it for a quick double

I hope I don't devolve into someone who would drive a Lamborghini. When I was 12 I might have wanted one. Here I am just selling about $1k (in francs) worth of bitcoins here in Tahiti wondering if I could get a really cheap car for that much or if I should hold out and wait to see if I get another buyer to push me up to $1500. I'd do a scooter but I'm an amateur on those things.

Mining wasn't banned in Plattsburgh. They will not allow new mining operations to use the subsidized local utility. Maybe try getting a slight understanding of a topic before freaking out.
How stupid do you have to be to oversell your electricity when you have a fixed subsidised supply? Wtf did they think was going to happen? These guys are blaming Bitcoin, when it is their own economic competence at fault. I wouldn't be surprised if these protoplasmic jellies crawled out of lake Champlain.

Come on guyz...I'm sure the politician that decided to subsidize electricity had her heart in the right place. You can't expect unintended consequences to happen with government interference. This would be the first and only case where that has happened.

Did he rebuy? My understanding is that he sold the first one after BTC had retraced, and spent the USD proceeds on hella more BTC than he spent on the Lambo to begin with. 'AAR, so I heard...'
