The scariest part of this drop is that there isn't even any major FUD driving it. It's not like last time where there was the China ban and Gox and major exchange issues happening left and right. The drop is just happening naturally on it's own. What is going to happen when the real FUD begins?
Parelleling this phenomena is the continiously unanimous bullishness in the forum. Charts always with some upwards plot and bulls popping champagne and posting rockets every time there is a 5% rise, and circle jerking eachother 'oh yes that's a great analysis, just how I see it. excellent work. and things will be even more bullish after XYZ conference. we could take this further and add an extra digit or two.' (as the bottom is being challenged on low volume)
I could see this coming from a mile away because bitcoin is just a derivative of the dollar. When browsing random crap on Amazon lately, I noticed that every single manufacturer of several products were all having to slash prices big in order to try and move anything, indicating the mainstream consumer is completely tapped out and we're tilting back towards deflationary collapse again. Also, places like Bank of America just added a $10 a month fee just to have a checking account there, indicating banks are losing money and desperate too. So yea, probably get ready for the next 2008 soon. Contrary to random noob's opinions on this forum, bitcoin cannot be pump and dumped in the middle of a deflationary collapse since all it is is a dollar derivative, while also being a high risk asset and miles away from the base of Exter's Pyramid. What if we live in a inverse Exter 's pyramid time? I think you are mistaking this one Roach. In the run up to the crisis, yes BTC will suffer. But then it will inverse, just as precious ones... .

is this the end?
Nope it’s the beginning The begining of the end ? The beginning of a trend, bitcoin trend. Don't worry about the price, 1BTC is still 1BTC. And it still will be worth afckinglot by 2025 (a random year from the future), at least when comparing to FIAT. Not the end. Not the beginning of the end. Not the beginning of a trend. Just a temporary bottom! Dude, you might wanna turn down the pressure on that airbrush a tad.

Been in Vegas since last Friday so not been posting due to a mixture of enjoying myself, being too drunk or high or on a come down. I have been checking the price though & was happy seeing the high $6000’s.
I check out of my hotel today & checked the price this morning.
WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED !!!!
I hope 6k holds!
Appears as though the bears decided to test the low 6000s again. Unfortunately, the reaction from support does not appear anywhere near as strong as the last time this range was tested. I have a hunch that the 6000 is not going to hold this time. However, with the way this market is going, a huge green candle on the 15 minute could be just around the corner.

HODLing crypto and gold seems to be the right answer. Diversification and all. NO ONE knows what the future will bring. Hedge accordingly. What if we live in a inverse Exter 's pyramid time? The bastards spiked his crank with glucose or some such evil concoction. His body just couldn't take it.
Or just Occam's Razor, that he knowingly took some questionable shit or overdosed and ended up in a hospital. But of course we'll never fully know the truth. He'll spin this as sabotage/assassination attempt to further his mystique. "Never let a good crisis go to waste."

[edited out]
Now this "pretentiousness phenomenon" almost made it to the TBDR level. I am glad that you stuck it out, because I did not in no way attempt to use BIG words in order to attempt to marvel anyone nor to "put on airs." Ha, I do enjoy your posts and was just ball busting. I enjoy shelby's posts as well, It's too tough to be humorous online these days I wonder if there is a big word for that? Thx as well sent me off to another rabbit hole. Need more hours in the day! So I just watched Queen of the south and they were doing a deal in BTC, Monero or Eth. This stuff is really getting mainstream but not in the best light. I'd like to see a show where the disenfranchised gets the food they need through Crypto backdoor channels but we won't be seeing that in the narrative for awhile. Appears as though the bears decided to test the low 6000s again. Unfortunately, the reaction from support does not appear anywhere near as strong as the last time this range was tested. Yeah, correctly calling this market now is in magic territory, there is no science for it except for those that control it. AND GODDAMN WTF with this market! I really thought we had a bottom there this shit just won't stop. I really thought that sideways with the bart head peeking up was the floor.

I really thought that sideways with the bart head peeking up was the floor. unfortunately it looks like they are going after some juicy margin calls. or at least sizable stops below 6k but lets be positive> its constantly bringing us opportunities to buy new bottoms. Executive Order Shitcoin LOL Lol already lost it's immutability. One mutable piece of shit centralized coin (EOS) trying to replace another piece of shit centralized coin (ETH).
This shit just gets better every year.

Not disposable per se but I had some US currency on an exchange that I was unable to withdraw so I just converted it to Bitcoin which I can withdraw. It had to be done sooner or later.

Creditors normally means businesses owed something. Users come much further down and get nothing. Heres to hoping.
all of those debts have long been met completely. this is the leftovers. it otherwise would've gone straight back to mark karpeles. It will be in fiat...sorry guys.....they don't have a clue on how to return it as BTC to the people who need it back from the mt. gox crash if they shoot 1.4 billion in USD equiv of BTC in fiat...before the end of the year say..we may be looking at 3k BTC or lower as to me, I think now everything is a 'bubble' so will just HODL my btc and live off my alts (as the plan off alts for next 3 years till 66 and take traditional retirement plan and soc sec) does not seem prudent to cash out crypto (BTC) now and lose 50% from ATH to just put it in fiat and stocks and traditional investments for the coming (whopper) of a recession I expect (40%) dump, (I mean Trump and other USA mess ups)....thus just gonna ride it all down the next 3 years and hope that IF/when we have a recession in the USA, BTC, and crypto will act like gold and at least go sideways and or up as a store of value well, chump to champ, I'll (we) will be the first to know if HODL is tulip farming or HODL is unicorn ranching later brad Well...THANKFULLY...I seem to be DEAD WRONG on the above, if various articles are correct and BTC from the mt. gox bankruptcy will be given out as BTC in 2019. IMHO, that would mean 'more' folk would HODL on any BTC that gets returned, and will thus have less of an effect on driving BTC price into the dirt, etc, etc. here is the link https://cointelegraph.com/news/mt-gox-crypto-exchange-begins-civil-rehabilitation-proceedings-ends-bitcoin-sell-offsStill, getting a bit of mixed messages on this, but the combo of no more BTC dumping until 2019 for USD and perhaps when BTC is moved, it is to the mt. gox folk direct and even it they do sell the BTC, it would be likely in a more gradual manner. Again, I think most folk would be 'thrilled' to get back BTC and would just go to HODL mode, but maybe that is just me....and my guess. Anyway, as always, love to be wrong....now if I can just be wrong about this 'bear market' continuing into 2019...as well brad
