Morgan Stanley starts off the report by noting that bitcoin’s thesis has been “rapidly morphing”. It details the perceived change in narratives, which started as digital cash, moved to store of value, and is now an institutional investment class. Such BS, store of value was always on the table, 'institutional investment class' isn't at odds with store or value or anything else, and it is still a 'digital cash' = medium of exchange. They might be a bit flabbergasted by a version of cash that does not come with the solemn promise of being worth less 2% a year. Made me chuckle hard

I can't even open it because it requires me to register an email so that they can brainwash me keep me informed of the economic situation! Edit: Nevermind, for whatever reason it opens from PC but requires email in the mobile version of the page... Too lazy atm to check if I had done something stupid! First fake email didn't work "You recently requested access to Morgan Stanley Research, but we were not able to verify your account using the email address you provided. To rectify this issue, or if you did not request access, please call our Client Services hotline at:" that's as much effort as i'm willing to put into it

Hope so - would be nice to finish the year with a bang again =) The situation described in the graph seems almost like saying that I flipped this coin 8 times, and 7 times the coins came up heads. Therefore, there is a good chance that on this next coin flip, I am going to see heads. Accordingly, that depiction seems like a bit of bad logic that is based on wishful thinking rather than an actual assessment of probabilities based on more materially relevant factors. In the coin flipping case, the odds remain 50/50 in regards to what is going to happen next, and likely the November price performance odds in bitcoin are a bit different than 50/50 because the odds are not just random and based on two outcomes. Accordingly, there are other factors that exist in bitcoin and some of the factors could be November relevant that exist throughout all Novembers that increase the odds for bitcoin to perform beyond 50% in this particular November, yet my point remains that an assessment of more relevant factors, besides "it happens to be November" would likely give a better prognostication in respect to btc's November 2018 price performance odds.

I need to bug that outfit again...I made an inquiry about getting some NASA logo barf bags from http://www.barfboutique.com/, no, seriously, a real thing. They never got back to me though. Perhaps if a few other W.O. regulars put the bug in their ear we can get this done in time. they do have this one, but really I think we will need the classic W.O. meme ones when the time comes.

I don't want to jinx it but we're having a nice, slow and steady rise from the low of $6199, yesterday.
Interesting.

Bang usually means danger is both directions, Bitcoin gets freaky around the year end is not a hard conclusion. Not quite sure why exactly, people sending cash home for holidays and before new year or something who knows. Or it could just be coincidence and we already had that drama last year and now its just going to keep being quiet. Last September I remember it being real gloomy on Chinese ban news and then somehow unexpectedly that resolved to the upside and broke out. So if theres a bang, I'd only expect the same with bad news and seemingly price knocked back and then the trick is to spot the strength within that Kinda similar chart, cant remember if I got it from twitter or where. A quarterly bar would probably be less picky, more useful but even mainstream markets they do call out weakness in certain months. However BTC never takes a holiday like conventional markets

He's sadly the most interesting poster lately. I am very curious how the caravan will be handled when they hit the border. It's a pivotal moment in history. If they are not stopped now, then I give it two years to find somewhere non-west to live.
