That cannot be it. You can't stop it yourself just by bleating on as you do and you know it. If you thought you could stop it, you'd be talking to people with power, not us. You're here because it's fairly free to talk utter nonsense here. You are too timid to try your nonsense where it might matter. Where might it matter? Propose an alternative. Depending on which side you're on: Try MP, try writing to qntra.net, try theymos and the power rangers, try whalepool or the mumble, try every last govt agency and org including their Silicon Valley and universities, and every msm media outlet, try the fucking newbies section here where all his nonsense is asked and answered ad nauseam. Anyone with money or power or the semblance of such. Most of those are enemy territory.

The Bitcoin dev slack channel.
Maybe you can convince them all to turn off Bitcoin and replace it with a big advertisement for heavy, difficult to secure, metals.
Most of them already think the way I do, that it's not even possible to create a decentralized digital currency. The only people who actually claim it's possible are people like Gavin that have questionable loyalties and have done a lot of shady things. I'd say most technically competent people in digital shitcoins fall in the following categories: 1) They know bitcoin is a failure ever since the day the first ASIC was launched, but they make believe the endgame of whatever this nonsense evolves into will be better than the current system. In reality, the only real possible endgame will be something resembling the Chinese social credit score system entirely controlled by govt because transaction validators are always designed to centralize no matter what you do. 2) People clinging to some false delusion that commodification of ASICs will not only fix everything, but that it's guaranteed to happen in the first place (it's not). Even then, the dynamic of mining is mostly akin to gambling, and it's usually more attractive to just gamble by buying and selling coins instead. When the price per coin trends towards cost of production, it means the people who actually participate in mining in a heavy manner instead of buying and selling coins are either going to have some type of enormous IP advantage that causes the system to centralize, or they're up to some type of nefarious motive like artificially manipulating supply to control pump and dumps, or are specifically trying to become middlemen on purpose and have people subjugated to them with blacklists and such in a permissioned ledger.

Decentralization does not equal even influence. This is a tired old argument. Any system has hierarchies, and most participants will be at the bottom. Next issue.

I have been usurped.
edit: Not too bad but you should use grain merge or multiply to get the kitty layer to appear as an embroidered patch.
The first image with 80% opacity, I'm using Adobe Illustrator this is 100% opacity :
I have the original file, maybe you want to help me to edit it Wow, it's not bad! A couple of things though, you have the ratio wrong - you should crop it to a 3:2 ratio so when you size it as an avatar it is exactly 120X80 pixels - and I personally would not have used the opacity change because it reduces image quality. Oh, also, I have the original 1; perhaps you meant the original kitty image? I'm thinking about offering a 4 year apprentice program for would-be hatters which would of course include a minor in how to prevent erethism mercurialis. I'm still working out the pricing details but of course, anyone graduating would be offered a position as a partner in my burgeoning, millinery empire. 1 https://store.goorin.com/mens-hats/shapes/baseball-hats/the-pointer-trucker-baseball-cap <-- my avatar hats are forks of the HairyMaclairy hat which was created using this selection from micgoossens favourite purveyor of fine caps. Avatar-sized

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Still as flat as Britney Spears without autotune... currently $6361USD/$8346CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Couldn't wait any longer, sold a couple of coins to pay for my trip/implants. Didn't do too badly. I got just over $8kCAD per coin in a semi-OTC transaction with an ATM operator.
Could have been worse.

don't you DUMP the price................ Don't worry Mic, those coins will never see an exchange. I love dealing with individuals/family businesses. The guy operates an ATM in a restaurant owned by a Bitcoin enthusiast and usually deals in amounts of a few hundred bucks or less. He was more than happy to take a smaller fee to do that much at once. Gotta love small businesses. I'm flying down on an airline started by some dude in Montreal, and back on a family-owned Mexican airline. The Mexican one actually still serves complimentary booze. Cheap too. The whole trip cost me about $500CAD/$380USD. Since I own my own tax-free place down there, I don't have to pay for accommodations except for a night at a cheap ($15/night) family-owned hotel coming and going. What I save on booze while I'm there and by turning down the heat while I'm away more than pays for the trip. It's like I'm being paid to relax in Mexico. Life is good.
