(Extreme) panic has set in for me without doubt. Wish I’d sold it all at $19,000

Everyone always wishes they sold at the high. I have a target price since I bought in 2013. I won't sell any stash till then and will ride it to zero if I have too. I just don't want too.

lmao..

when it was 20k, these guys were saying hodllll.

now it is 4.5k, they are still saying hodllll.

so sad.

Well dick head, go look at the chart of bitcoin price since it started. those hodlers have done pretty damn well for themselves.

Lmao. You are a real moron who contradicts himself in the same post.

I am not a hodler. I am an investor. I bought BTC to sell it to make money not to marry with it like you guys. I bought it at 8k, sold it at 17k.

But you hodlers, bought it at 1K, 2K, it reached 19K you still didn't sell it. Now it is 4.5k, you are still not selling it.

So who made the money now? Hodler or investor?

Anyway, wait for another 2-3 years until BTC reaches that level again so you can sell to make some money after hodling for 5-6 years.

LOL, I started buying at around $12, that's twelve dollars, not $12k.

You might not realise it but many of the same people who post in this forum today are still here from well before the time when I joined back in 2012 which means a lot of them almost certainly got their initial coins for way less than I did.

My first coins were someone giving me 50 for free and I was like "the hell am I supposed to do with this?" and deleted them.

I don't think they even had a dollar value at all then and you probably could have browsed faucets or something later on to get more if you really wanted to.  Even though I've profited off the stupid things, I still view them pretty much exactly the same as then - as valueless, imaginary, super mario tokens.  The first time I ever exchanged bitcoins for physical silver and gold I just looked around in disbelief opening the package like "did someone really give me silver and gold for imaginary 0's and 1's?".  I felt like I just scammed someone.

We are all going to die in the end anyways and the environment is already fucked from capitalism.

It's only numbers on a screen.  Health is much more important than money.

Can't have capitalism with a central bank.  A central bank is one of the main tenets of communism.  Bitcoin itself is supposed to be an automated central bank, but transaction validators are designed to centralize, so it's more of a Pandora's box of whatever goverment or pseudo-government organizations takes control of it like the G8, G20, UN, The Fed, BIS, or whoever.  They then regulate and administer blacklists on the 2-10 or so huge mining pools, mandatory identity tied to accounts with stuff like chain anchor, and it's a giant permissioned ledger slavery system identical to the Chinese social credit score system.

Whether that is by accident or by design all along is the only real discussion.

Hmmm... anyone else notice this about deposits from bitstamp?  Timely  Roll Eyes

REST OF THE WORLD

USD INTERNATIONAL deposits are temporarily unavailable due to ongoing migration to a different service provider. USD DOMESTIC deposits may run into minor delays.

Decided to make a transfer anyway. Hopefully it goes smooth since my bank is Canadian.

The khashoggi thing feels a staged event to try and trigger some theatre show blockade of middle east crude to try and prop up the oil market or something.  Shale and everyone else is losing money hand over fist.

It's scary to catch a falling knife, but you buy now and hold a few yrs, you're good to go. Even if it goes to 2-3K, u'll still make off like a bandit.

Actually, I am not saying that it is not worth it to try to catch a falling knife.  I just know that it is scary, and frequently peeps get criticized for attempting to buy the dip when the bottom remains so uncertain.

In the long run, profit for sure, but it is just a matter of feeling good that you more or less got a decent price and did not waste too much fiat buying every single dip when you could have waited a bit longer.
My hands were pierced several times while catching falling knives during the big slide from 20k. I'm filing it all under dollar cost averaging, and I'm trying to keep it up now. It's much more satisfying. There's a good side in every corner.

Ok

My models say the following

*The current downward trend has 48 hours left to run.

*The Tether FUD article is deliberately timed to power this last 48 hours.

*I don’t have a $ target for this bottom.

*There will be a relief rally which will be temporary only.

*This is not the final capitulation bottom.

I like this angle, and I'm setting up for something like it. The only 'but': no account for weekend boundaries? They still seem to matter some, in my experience. Maybe the relief rally will look like an old-style weekend pump?

This stock market rout is all for show.

I predict all markets will rally hard in early 2019.

And Bitcoin along with it.

one thing is for sure volatility is back and BTC=stable coin thoughts are gone

good we already have that ....

now be volatile in the other direction my BTC-friend
Honestly I don't think we can go too much further down. I think the urge to buy will be too strong and reverse this shit.

its the same that i hear continuously from guys its gonna go +-4k-ish
and all of them have buy orders around 3.5--->4.5K between so i guess there gonna be some BUYING pressure around those numbers but we will see....
i just hope that there are to greedy f***s gonna be left in the cold
