Venezuela is one of the cheapest places in the world (on record) to mine bitcoin because of the really cheap electricity prices. Anybody feel like going to live there for 12-18 months & setting uo a mining farm with me? Wink
I heard living there is too risky there.

Good Afternoon WO. Sad news. We lost another good forum member:
RIP brother. See you on the other side.

+1 WOsMerit

Thanks..I had no idea he had passed. Sad news indeed. Stopped by and paid my respects.  RIP

Bitcoin

We are seeing a slow recovery from yesterdays dump and while the momentum is still bullish, the faithful remain cautious about jumping back onboard. I can hardly blame them after the drubbing we took yesterday.
I am on my first cup of coffee and am feeling a bit blue about the loss of Zepher.  I will be back later with a more coherent report. We will remain strong and vigilant, even in our grief.  #btds

Jihan Wu is leaving Bitmain, starting a new company 🤯🤯🤯 multiple non-official sources said so ... according to various sources, the new company is more like a spin out of Bitmain (so far not sure of the equity ownership structure), with primary focus around BCH and Defi

If I was younger and single I would bite your arm off.
Unfortunately I am neither and will have to make do with my tiny GPu rig costing more on electricity than I am making in coins here in the UK.

Jihady Wu did what he can to cripple bitcoin. Time for new actors and new ideas to frustrate users. Bitcoin is amazing animal, survived even when the biggest mining pool tried their best to destroy it.

Reminds me of my favorite line from Waterworld.

Deacon: There used to be atolls on every horizon. Where the hell are they all gone?
Assistant: Well, we sank them.
