Well, Rick is off jet-setting around the globe, somewhere, to attend some fancy event, and I'm left home alone this weekend.

Thinking of consuming 7mg of dried mushrooms and talking to Jah and The Flying Spaghetti Monster tonight.

What could possibly go wrong ?

Well.....

Since I tend to have a over active imagination lets just shtick with the basics.

Power point presentation available upon request. #btds

But poloniex  Sad

Yeah me too - I have had three 'wisdom pages open in tabs for years:  Stamp BTC/ Finex BTC / Polo (for XMR/BTC)

It started getting glitchy a couple of days back - now all three are just frozen.

Will check .io out - I am just used to the candles and indicators.

I think he’s very likely to be a paid shill.

You can consider it likely if you want. But I am not paid for my advocacy of Bitcoins in any flavor, be it SV, BCH, or BTC. Meantime, half of y'all are whoring out your reputations to shill some crap product in y'all's sigs. Imagine the irony.
I would never expect you to be a shill, I think they have you and most of the BCH community wrong. I just think you are all very ideological and wanting Bitcoin to be a digital cash and see no use of anything not directly on the blockchain. No second layer no whatnot,

I don't have any issue with second layer innovation, per se. What galls me is that Blockstream and the rest of Core deliberately crippled Layer 1 in order to accomplish their layer 2 'innovation'. Which, for all intents and purposes, still sucks two years down the line.

The human condition is complete shit.

If that is your state of mind currently, taking hallucinogenics might not be the best choice of the substances that are available.

I wish everyone a great weekend, and you especially Bob!

I am pleasantly surprised to see we aren't pushed down to lower to mid 4s. That's where I figured we would go.

I think most would of think that.... could still, though I always hope for the PUMP, gotta know me by NOW Tongue

Still unanswered: How LN is going to help when Layer 1 is already clogged to the point of uselessness.

We will cross that bridge when we get there.

If this price pump continues, we could get there next week. Unfortunately, there is no solution on the horizon under discussion.

And, get the fuck out of here with your exaggeration that there is no plan in BTC..

OK, JJG. Tell me what the plan is to deal with the fact that once blocks are persistently full, then average fees rise uncontrollably, average wait times raise uncontrollably, LN channel openings and closings get economically prohibitive, and number of new entrants gets hard-capped.

What is the plan, JJG - what is the plan?

Bitcoin don't no need additional plan,

So you admit that the bolded statement of yours above was an untruthful attack.

Nope.  I am not admitting that bitcoin has no plan. I am just cursorily dismissing your assertion that whatever is going on in bitcoin is deficient in terms of preparing for the future.

OK, so you keep asserting that BTC has a plan to deal with the negative effects of persistently full blocks. HOWEVER, after repeated requests to reveal what that plan actually consists of, you do nothing but deflect and dissemble. I call BullShit.

Quote
I like bitcoin's conservative approach.

Then you are deluded. BTC's The SegWit Omnibus Changeset was the most radical change ever to be foisted upon Bitcoin, from every discernable dimension. It changed the protocol radically, it changed the supported use cases radically, it changed the economics radically, and it drove a huge percentage of Bitcoiners to greener pastures.

blocksize increase would not have stopped the stupid ass forks.. unless it were to break bitcoin, which was part of their goal to change bitcoin's governance and make bitcoin easier to change.....

Again with the delusion. One of the major 'features' in The SegWit Omnibus Changeset was for the sole stated purpose of making Bitcoin easier to change in the future.

jbreher..

What is your actual point?  Seriously...can you dumb it down for all us plebs and just state what the problems are and how you would fix them. In simple non technical terms so we can all follow along at home.

Thank you.

6502?

Now you're taking me back.... MOS Technology's "little chip that could".

Pretty much sparked the microcomputer/homePC revolution (and console gaming too). Remember the Apple II, Commodore 64, Atari and Nintendo? All 6502.

My first attempt to learn assembly language was with a 6502 for dummies book. I guess I was too much of a dummy, retreated back to the simpler world of MSbasic.

Those were exciting times, just as they are for Bitcoin now.

Thanx for the memories.

Ah thanks. Interesting an abandoned websites keeps running for so long. Of course I saw they never removed old exchanges such as btc-e.
That is what abandoned websites do. I once looked up the local Chinese restaurant in a small village, They had an extensive website with route description. We also looked through the on-line menu and already made our choice before we got into the car. When we got there we found that the restaurant didn't exist any more. Current owner confirmed that we where at the correct place, and that it was indeed a Chinese restaurant several years ago.

Either from Dec '18 low or from retest of same (circa analog dbl bottom in 2015) it would not surprise me if $BTC enters a new parabolic phase. $btcusd

This dude says BTC can hit $50k next year. It is not $100k but i guess many of us would still like it.

Oh for fucks sake it's not crippling it's simply preferring security, distribution and censorship resistance OVER EVERYTHING ELSE.

Your assertion is not supported by any factual analysis that I have ever seen. Show your work.

So, 6mg then Huh 5mg  Huh  Huh I am so confused right now. Double the dosage to 14mg  Huh  Huh  Huh

Day 8 being completely dry of booze, BTW. Why won't this headache go away ? What have I done to myself ?!

Rick is secretly hoping for pump back up to $20K USD/BTC before Christmas, so he can retire early from his own stash of corn. I'm thinking of possibly pulling a trigger myself, at that price, and rescue him from wage-slavery, so we can live happily ever after... and stuff.

Dude has been really miserable coming home from work, lately, and it's very sad for me to see him getting worn down in the way he is. Shit is getting really bad on the left coast, and Rick is surrounded by it on all sides, unfortunately.

I feel so guilty being retired, knowing what he is still forced to endure.

Also, learned that an old colleague of Ricks was recently diagnosed with an inoperable neuroblastoma, and was given less than 3 months to live.

The human condition is complete shit.

Sell a porshe then and let him off the hook. Its just stuff.
