But the refugees in Europe don't want to work. They are not even allowed to do so for a few first years (in my country at least). They want free money with a living space.
I used to live in Finland in an area where refugees were massively brought in, I'd say around 95% did not work and had no will to do so. They got more from the government than the lower wages were. I can see similar behaviour when travelling to Sweden or Norway for example. Most of them can't and won't integrate. Not ever.
Most of the garbage handlers in those countries are pale white.
As far as I know EU is very selective when they are picking refugees. I live in the country which sends you those. (Turkey) All the dumber ones are here (estimated number is 5 effin million btw) and from what I see, all the doctors and engineers are leaving to the EU. You have a point though. There are many who don't want to work too. But hey, be glad you don't live over here. There is worse than bad. Our alphabet is latin, but there are many Arabic signs I started to see in the streets in the last 4-5 years... I have no idea about what they say. Turkish used Arabic script before changing to the Latin alphabet. Those signs might be Turkish written in the old style.

And before in Orkhon script, the native script of the turkish language AFAIK. Well it could be ISIS propaganda too.

Building a country is a too complex thing.
If everyone is below 90IQ, that's a problem. If everyone is above 110IQ that's another problem.
You don't want everyone to be too dumb and you definitely don't want everybody to be too smart neither.
If everybody in a country is a smartass, building crypto mining farms, writing codes, healing people, teaching mathematics...
...who's going to pick up the trash?
Now you see why USA&EU allows refugees.
I'll pick up trash kind of a compulsive recycler anyway...

Every country has a "poor" section, ... you don't necessarily have to be in that section, you can hang out in the middle class section and just be "the millionaire next door", live a simple life, blend in with the crowd, like almost everybody else.
Can probably even buy a large plot of land, build a small fortress disguised as a normal house, hire private security, make friends with the local politicians, "donate" to their causes, and otherwise get out of the cross hairs and radars of everyone else.
I get it, there are ideals in seasteading, but as we all can see, it carries a risk some of us are not willing to take. Eventually, everyone will talk about Elwar the way some of talk about buying pizzas with 10k bitcoins.
Freedom has a price.

Bitcoin Cross is about to happen! See how to trade the pattern! The 1D MA50/ MA200 Cross (Golden Cross) is about to take place and you are still wondering how to trade it?
Well the last time that happened in July 2015 following the previous bear cycle's bottom, Bitcoin pulled back by around -35%. Then the price rebounded towards a Death Cross (1D MA200/ MA50) that made it consolidate before a new (and final) Golden Cross that pushed BTC to new highs.
The Distance between the 1st Golden Cross and the Death Cross was around 62 days and the (D) between the Death Cross and the 2nd Golden Cross 42 days.
I have tried to plot the same pattern into today's chart. The conclusion is yours!
*Bonus the Ichimoku Cloud which plots a path ahead of the Crosses! https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/TuwVUD9d-Bitcoin-Cross-is-about-to-happen-See-how-to-trade-the-pattern/

Thinking about Elwar and Nadia's position. One thing we know about most of SE Asia (Thailand included) is that many problems can be paid to go away somewhat unofficially. Elwar didn't hide the fact that he was an early adopter in BTC also Bangkok Post stated "Mr Elwartowski was rich from bitcoin trading". There's a fair chance of corruption in any case here. Turning themselves in receives the greatest chance of this, less likely if the US embassy gets involved first. I don't think the death sentence threat is really on the table but if they run and get caught I guess we'll find out or the extortion gets larger. Here's hoping he doesn't get extorted, jumps the fence, and comes back to tell a wild James Bond- (Bonnie and Clyde) escape story purely for my entertainment! But really, I hope it becomes clear soon for them.

Why 1BTC should equal 10^8 satoshi ?"Finney made the point that people should never need any currency division smaller than a US penny." https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=819656.msg9170781#msg9170781Good Morning, WO,s They are all privileged minds, it is amazing what you find reviewing old threads.

100 million is a bit annoying to keep track of. It doesn’t fit nicely into thousand / million / billion schema.
I would have much preferred a million sats or a billion sats.
If someone asked me how much 4,300 sats is worth in USD, I couldn’t give a quick answer off the top of my head.

When we reach 1BTC = $ 1,000,000 If necessary, they will change the code and add more divisions.
