The sun and moon are hokus pokus. We can live without the sun. The sun doesn't make our food to grow and doesnt make  vitamin d. The planets and our universe don't exist. They don't have any efect on us. The sun cant do nothing to our skin. The sun doesn't help to grow our food. The moon doesn't move the level of our oceans. Our planet earth is not in the universe and the solar sistem. The earth Idoesn't  move around the sun. We are isolated. Nothing changes our mood, not the day or night. The moon walkers don't exist. Our planets are parascience. At least that's why elite is telling us.  But they are using it anyway for themself.

I am prepared to cautiously state that this does not look like rejection however.
It seems like we've violently broken the falling wedge pattern with high volume. The odds for this are increasing with every hour.

My thoughts exactly. I'd still expect a re-test of this level around $8K before moving towards $9K, but then again, if it breaks through $8.4K I think it might pass on that.

I'm not down with that till we are solidly above 85..

We passed $85 years ago, keep up  Wink

Rejected, according to me... Sad

Me too. Your post reminded of some "neutral" TA I published a few weeks ago that was looking irrelevant until this week.
Took a bit longer than expected, but got rejected by the respective resistance levels after reaching the extrapolated move #bearish

Not as convinced about the $5,800 new low target quite yet, but breaking $7,800 would be very bearish is this point.

 psst!
She's a drag queen who might also use the pronoun he Tranny

Using she/he might be offensive if the drag queen self identifies as an attack helicopter.

No need to be scared to offend dudes who think they are chicks.

Who programed our planets to move around the sun? Do you realize you are moving right now around the sun, even if you are siting behind your keyboard. The creator is the best programer of all time.

If you believe that there is a real flat earth movement you are very mistaken. There are only thousands of fake bots. Almost all of you bought this without checking who is behind that. It's easy to control sheeple's mind. Oh, don't go back to watch your south park.

I think we can agree that bulls AND bears are exhausted.

Huh?  I think we might agree that bears might be getting tired... and your lil admission about your current level of tired and your attempt to project exhaustion onto the bulls might be more revealing upon the situation of the bears rather than the bulls, maybe? Perhaps?

From my armchair perspective, I cannot really know if the beartards are running out of fuel..

I cannot be that presumptuous to know short-term readiness, willingness or abilities of bears to pump more value into trying to drive BTC's prices down - which surely they will do it if they can; however, from time to time, since about April 1, we have been witnessing these little bitcoin UPspurts here and there (hint look at the price charts for the past year-ish - and maybe even longer for context), providing us bitcoin HODLers signs of bitcoin life and strength, for those HODLers who are ready, willing and able to recognize and appreciate such seemingly ongoing bitcoin POWER signs.

Accordingly, we just had a nice lil $1,600-ish / 5 day-ish pumpening of our lil product (aka good ole lil buddy) culminating to about $8,463.60 - slight more than a day or so ago...

That lil UPPITY situation did NOT feel at all exhausting, for yours truly (and can I speak for other HODLers? Perhaps?  Not exhausting...)...

The past few days, may have been a wee bit exhausting for a few beartards?  Especially the dumbass beartards who thought that the lopsided longs on Bitfinex (or does bitmex count too?) "guaranteed" them some kind of DOWN movement rather than UP....

Poor lil tinglies.. BTC prices did not go their way.   Cry Cry Cry  Saaaaaadddd.

For me, that lil UP bumpening felt pretty yummy over those recent 5-ish days.. and seeing a few bear shorteners getting their down bets REKKT along the way during such processenings..

Even if not quite half of the UP has been closed to retraced as I type (in the last 6 hours, largely bouncing between about $7,750 and $7,850), I don't mind.  Even if most or all of the UP progress ends up getting retraced, so what... ?  Not feeling like an exhausting situation, but instead feeling like a possible buying opportunity (or alternatively a HODLing rather than selling situation).. for those who can appreciate it.

Ultimately, we still seem to be in a bull-leaning market.  Wink     You will thank me later, for pointing out these lil recent-historical minor perspective matters to you, bear wannabe.. Tongue

Nothing changes our mood, not the day or night.
Probably some good point in there about perspective, people view the world by their own viewpoint and bias which to some extent is completely wrong.   BTC price altering could largely be about dollar value altering but its hard to say as neither side is exactly static but at some point it will become obvious, we might be orbit at that point.

There is probably many who dont know either way.   At least me personally I rely on knowing what we are told but the actual reasoning is a bit more involved.   I reckon people can be persuaded to believe in anything, self determination is minor to society effects.   I swear a xerox copier could have gotten higher grades then me, most lessons are 'repeat after me' it seems like.

I think BTC needs to test 7439 area before any further rise.

A very interesting article about the bitcoin macro-trends and projections model.

Quote
we have now entered a new hodl zone, with the third halving upcoming in May 2020. Because the price (and BEAM Value) has been dropping while within the grey zone, but not below 0.07, this is great evidence of re-accumulation. There were re-accumulation phases at each start of the hodl zones in the past when price dropped again after a peak. The green buy zones are initial accumulation phases. Reaccumulation usually provides a second chance for late comers to buy at somewhat higher prices. This is good evidence that we are beginning to enter a bull market.

Quote
Each day MVOCD (blue line) is below Bitcoin price (black line), more Bitcoin days are being created than being destroyed, ie people are holding onto their Bitcoin because as a store of value they believe its price in the future will be more than it is today. They have given up the opportunity to sell Bitcoin today to instead hold it for the future — so we call this the opportunity cost.

Bitcoin's Taproot/Schnorr upgrade proposal is 'nearly ready' as it moves through developer feedback phase.

Quote
Taproot is expected to be bundled together with Schnorr, a related upgrade that seeks to enable signature aggregation and make Taproot’s implementation possible.

Right now, the Taproot/Schnorr soft fork – proposed in May by Bitcoin Core developer Pieter Wuille – is moving through the ecosystem feedback phase as developers recommend and review possible changes to the draft.

On Dec. 17, Wuille put out an update on the project during the final scheduled meeting of the Taproot review group, where he revealed that developers were finishing addressing all comments from the review and that the Taproot proposal was “nearly ready.”

The proposal moving forward is designed to save 30% to 75% in fee use and accelerate block validation by up to 2.5 times, Square Crypto product manager Steve Lee predicted during a presentation from last summer.

It's a process that has attracted interest and excitement from different quarters of the crypto ecosystem. Recent survey data collected by The Block that indicates that Taproot is high on the list of technological developments being followed.

Some advice to the new bitcoiners, presuming we are in a cautious new bull market.

After each up there is a down. It makes you feel sick and you think next time it happens I sell to take some easy profit, these wild price movements are so predictable! And you might even profit from it and feel great: let’s do this again!

But then one day bitcoin does not go down, it just keeps on going up. Now you are holding a bag of fiat nervously in your exchange account waiting to re-enter. But bitcoin keeps on going up and finally you just FOMO back in: congrats you just bought the top and/or have substantially less bitcoins.

The above is not from personal experience since I am the laziest little investor / stubborn holder. But I have seen people come and go over the years for this very reason.

Throwing dollars at Bitcoin is easy, holding bitcoins is the hard part.
(for the record: holding means owning the bitcoin private keys)
