Welcome to the "Retirement - Psilocybin - Nullius on Ignore" hat-trick. It's a wonderful place Bob, I think you'll like it here  Grin

Yeah. This dose is real nice.

Everything is glowing.

Life is good.

Sending everyone fabulous no-homo happiness vibes.

(Unless you want homo vibes, in which case, you have to deal with Rick before getting to me. I don't make the rules.)

EDIT: Yeah, this is getting good now. Having to tell my limbs to put things down before engaging in other divided-attention tasks.

EDIT2: Wait.. Why is everything starting to look like it's transposed through fish-eye lens ?

Maybe it's all those times my cats have pushed of my desk.

Se, now it missed "it".

And now "e"

See what I have to work with here.

couple of my keyboards have removable caps (gaming keyboards with mechanical switches) and one of my cats discovered how easy it is to pull caps off with her claws. she was very thorough, only left a few on, probably got bored.

now, loose keycaps skitter across hardwood floors extremely well and also fit down the air return vents in the floor. i just wound up buying a full replacement set.

i still find keycaps even now..

In the whole scheme of things, your cat gets treated pretty well, vapourminer, back to the mask theme.. given how naughty she seems to be.

I believe you should "ground" her from her masking privileges and see how she fares under such new arrangements.

Alternatively, since you seem to be such a softy, vapourminer, I know about some adoption services that may be of interest to you.

Offtopic (again) but i wrote about good news yesterday, so:

Some of my health issues seem to resolve a bit, in particular chronic pain and fatigue.
While i wasn't attending the pain part very much, because of manliness & shit, and because i got quite used to it over the years. It helped a lot to build muscle, which was only possible without pain and muscle weakness in the warmer seasons. Whenever it got cold outside, it became hard to exercise, because me and my muscles got exhausted before significant training effects kicked in, and the pains lasted for days after.
Same with fatigue and shortness of breath, awkward chronic pains, for example in my fingers and joints of my arms while just holding things like a pack of milk for more than a minute. Not to forget shooting and burning pain, like being stung with fine, glowing needles in fingers and toes.

So i came across an article about Fibromyalgia, some sort of rheumatic illness, mainly regarding the fine nerve endings and muscle/tendon tissues.
The article mentioned Thiamine (aka. Vitamin B1), and that the intake of relatively high doses as 250-500mg resolve pain and fatigue considerably in Fibro patients. Also, many diffuse symptoms were listed, and especially that it's been called a "women's disease" for a long time, because it was diagnosed in women with the use of "tender points", which are overly sensitive to pressure and reacting with heavy, momentarily pain sensations. Over 90% of diagnosed sufferers were women. New discoveries pointed out, that also men are suffering from it, but they typically show absence of said "tender points", and also showed a different spectrum of symptoms, like memory problems.

I instantly went  Shocked

I was taking B-Vitamins for years, because they helped to combat daily challenges through giving me more energy and power. Speaking of a daily dose of 55mg (50 Thiamine, plus 5 from a multi-vitaminB supplement). I just left out the daily 50mg away for a week and a half until i couldn't take it no more, because fatigue, muscle pain and inability to cope with any type of stress became unbearable. I couldn't sit straight because of back pain along the whole spine, my elbows, ankles and knees were hurting when i stopped to move for some time, worst in the morning, when i was doing extremely hard to get up. Tired and short breathed all day long, short term memory problems got worse too, my libido vanished.

Taking an extra 250mg of Thiamine (five times the usual dose) resolved all this within a matter of three days.

After a week i'm on 200mg daily, about to try higher doses soon, after checking out any possible side effects. So far there aren't any.
I am able to work out like in summer, i'm even feeling half as heavy when doing push-ups, squats and reverse rows than 20 days ago, before i started to stop Thiamine intake.
The missus is glad too, because i am nicer to the kids again and performance returned in the penile area as well Grin

So, looks like a good evidence for a valid ICD diagnosis after 9 years of suffering and maybe some more suited future treatment to help me fight this daily nightmare.
Marijuana helped to recover strained muscles and get deep sleep, it also reduced some shooting nerve-pains.
So far, about the toxicity of drugs, some are remedy - especially the (scientifically proven) neuro-regenerating ones, in particular THC. (this especially goes out to nullius).

The best times for me will be when Bitcoin is recognized as the world reserve currency, for starters  Grin

Sure, a kind of world reserve currency status may be reached or reachable in bitcoin - but I don't understand why anyone should tie their own sense of being fulfilled to such status.. whether reaching such status is characterized by terms like "best times" or some other characterization to proclaim that bitcoin needs to do something in order to make "me" feel better.

Seems to me that bitcoin already "is" doing something.  Bitcoin already "is" statisfying for me..

Sure, bitcoin seems poised to do more than what it is currently doing.. because bitcoin surely seems to be a kind of baby in terms of its adoption and development... so in that regard, I remain interested in what bitcoin is doing on a regular basis.. and so that seems to be why I log into this thread on a daily basis... and on average, more than that... ... - but my sense of myself is NOT wedded to whether it does MOAR or not...

Maybe I am just caught upon semantics?

Perhaps?

Perhaps?

Honey badger don’t give a fuck.

If this ignoring nullius thing becomes a widely supported "popular" "mass" action, chances are he'll take it as a compliment...

+1 merit, and also +2256 WOsMerits!

How do the lower classes fail to understand that my words are not for ineducable lumpenproletarians?  I know that they are stupid, but I have patiently tried to explain this—with GIANT-SIZED LETTERS, for the benefit of those whose reading level does not exceed books intended for small children.

nullius needs a filter to protect his pearls from being seen by unfit swine.  The filter:  If you ignore-list me, then ipso facto, you are unfit to see my words.  Please—DO—IT.  Thank you.

I will make the unworthy masses collectively pull a mindrust!

[...]

Whatever. The next stupid answer I get from you will make me ignore you forever. So think well before quoting me next time.
[...]

Yes, please!  Place me on your ignore list.  Forever.  It is your loss, and I do not want for you to read my posts.  Thank you.

If you are not reading it, then it is not for you.

excuse my language in the thread must be too many cats on the brain

Yes, please!  My campaign to deprive hoi polloi of my wisdom will neatly dovetail with my mesasge to VOTE, VOTE, VOTE for me as the forum antihero!

nullius & JJG

They're harsh with words on these boards, but I believe it would be much more gemütlich IRL, though.

Of course, I cannot speak for Jay; but as for myself, not so much “gemütlich” as, if I do say so myself, some other kind of good qualities; see Nr. 11 at pp. 20–22 (pdf pp. 40–42) for adequate context:

...die andrerseits im Verhalten zu einander so erfinderisch in Rücksicht, Selbstbeherrschung, Zartsinn, Treue, Stolz und Freundschaft sich beweisen, — sie sind nach Aussen hin, dort wo das Fremde, die Fremde beginnt, nicht viel besser als losgelassne Raubthiere.

Nullius on Ignore

^^^ An example of a lowborn dolt who has finally learnt his place.  One way or another.

I decided NOT to engage ignore on him, if i'll read a post by nullius until monday and i'm NOT asking myself wether i should finally hit ignore or not.

Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries!  Now, go away, or I shall taunt you a second time!

How oft need I repeat myself? :-(

After wiring the funds from our latest windfall, to our main, joint financial institution, the most difficult decision I need to make today is "How many mg of psilocybin do I want to dose myself with, and is today the day that I finally put @nullius on ignore..."

Liar.  You are too much of a sissy to ignore-list me.  It is not the first that I have heard this from you.

Suck my giant black cock.

To the hilt.
https://loyce.club/archive/posts/5414/54140490.html

I don't feel a sucking sensation yet in my penicular region.

Why not sodomize yourself with a length of rusty pipe instead ?

Better yet, fuck off to China for all I care.

Welcome, as a rare addition to my ignore list.

Protip:  If you want to ignore-list me, STFU and do it.  Otherwise, it will much amuse me to ridicule you.  Big talkers.

Edit, an hour later:  Made better reference to context in a certain book.  No other changes.

And Kraken 16k again.  Don't know what to think, for the immediate term.  Sideways?

we have not reach the miners profit high of 13k back in july 2019

if we did after adjustments we would need to be over 25k maybe 30k.

We promptly crashed back down in aug 2019 and hit a low of 3900 in feb of 2020.

basically I don't see a  correction short term until we get closer to 25-30k

I understand this logic, but disagree on a short term call.
We will most definitely dip at 20-21k.
There are too many bagholders who will sell at ATH (as soon as it is reached).
Maybe 20% or even 30% dip to $14-16K. I don't need to buy that dip, but I might.
Why? it always (EDIT for JJG: it happened last time) happens-see Dec 2016-Jan 2017

Just bumbling through this on a Saturday night; so far it seems like the best thing to happen to lightning since lightning itself. Worth a repost...

Quote from: lightning-pool-whitepaper.pdf
Abstract
In this paper we examine the core inbound liquidity bootstrapping problem the Lightning Network faces, and frame it as a resource allocation problem to be solved by the application of market design and auction theory.  We present Lightning Pool, a non-custodial channel lease market-place, implemented as a sealed-bid frequent batched uniform clearing price auction which allows participants to buy and sell capital obligations on the network.  We call these capital obligations channel leases.  A channel lease can be viewed as a cross between a traditional fixed-income asset and an internet bandwidth peering agreement.  Channel leases allow nodes on the network with idle capital to earn yield (based on a derived per-block interest rate) by selling channels to other agents in the marketplace.  The duration of such contracts is enforced on-chain using Bitcoin Script.  We construct Lightning Pool using a novel design for constructing overlay applications on top of Bitcoin: a shadow chain.  Shadow chains allow users to remain in full custody of their funds at all times while also participating in higher level applications that scale via an optimistic  transaction cut-through protocol.

Weird warning: clicking on the link auto downloads the pdf (but I survived the wtf)
