I don't know about the prediction, but I like the reasoning about bitcoin put down by the guy. It is almost the reason why I am long bitcoin.

I don't post too much but today I couldn't help myself.

A memory came up on my FB wall today, something I posted 3 years ago.

The price of BTC, I must have been pretty excited.  Three years ago this day:  $7,971

It only proves that we're lagging behind on this bullrun. Back then an ATH was how much? ~$1000-1200? And around this time we were already at ATH x7! So we should have been at $20k x7 = $140000! It looks improbable we'll reach $140k this year but what about May-June next year? Why not?  

But we are on a 4 year cycle, not a three year one.  Your number would be for Nov 2021 I think?

So try it on in 2016 now to match the cycle timing...

 About <$750 level.  Translates to about 12k this time around.  Yes, we are earlier.  Hence my call for ATH this month or next, rather than last cycle's February ATH topper.  We could go back to sleep for a couple months, but I doubt it.

Abstract:  Pliny the Elder’s account of Cleopatra consuming a cocktail of vinegar and a pearl in order to win a bet with Anthony was considered credible in the ancient world, but many modern scholars have relegated the anecdote to the realm of fantasy.  This paper identifies possible reasons for this skepticism, including the visual tradition of the story and the belief that increasing concentration always increases reaction rate.  Experiments reveal that, in the case of acetic acid and pearls, the concentration found in vinegar made from wine is ideal.
