Even if you may have only been able to afford $10 per week, you could have had a decent amount of coins by now.. even with a modest budget...

According to DCA website, you would have more than 4.5 bitcoins... which is surely not nothing.. and only would have invested $3,660.

What I like about this month's big pump is that the few dumps that attempted to destroy it were quickly eaten out. This shows a strong upward momentum, which I hope will soon take us to ATH and beyond.

Don't get me wrong, price could continue higher to $20K with ease, but also could be time for a a correction.

PS - The measured move target of the breakout of the ascending wedge was +8% to $8,250, exactly where price is getting rejected

As you likely realize, I made my comment about the unforkening of the various forks, and the teaming up idea as a kind of ironic joke..  [...]  Anyhow, it is merely just an interesting thought experiment for me to be suggesting for the various bcash forks or the shitcoins to team up.

LOL, yes.  It is a fun mental image:  The fork coins melting back together, and becoming whole again.  Too bad for the forkers, some processes are one-way.

Cryptographic hashing, conception, birth, death...  Whoops!  The patsies for the fork coins deluded themselves into believing that they conceived and birthed something new.  But all they did was to kill themselves.  (Of course, some of the scammers running these forks probably knew exactly what they were doing all along...)

surely the various fucktwats in the bitcoin forks or the bcash forks or even projects like ethereum and other shitcoins are not going to team up... part of the reason for their various projects is to print money and another reason is to scam people into thinking that there is some kind of value in the various "technical innovations" that whatever shitcoin supposedly provides to the "crypto" (whatever the fuck that is?) space.

I myself distinguish between pure SCAMS that try to steal the Bitcoin name, and altcoins that try to make a name for themselves.  I am no fan of Ethereum, but I absolutely wouldn’t bin Vitalik together with Jihan Wu, Roger Ver, Calvin Ayre, Faketoshi, and the lot of lying forkers.

Despite my ironical “cult”, I am not religious about the matter.  If someone could make a currency that beats Bitcoin on the merits, so much the better!  Superiority should win—I am in Bitcoin because it is the best overall.

Although I see some weak-hands-whiplash during the night, now we are back above $18K. I still can't believe that so soon after the mostly bearish 3 years we are here - well above the 2x line. I mean for someone with 115% savings into BTC, it was quite exhausting to check the price over and over again and see that it either can't hold $8K, or even makes endless barts around $6.4K.

And that night in 2018 when we fell to $3.1K. Geez! I couldn't sleep well thinking from where I can get more  fiat to buy the dip. Back then the banks didn't offer big loans with good interest, or at least I didn't know about it. So I'd drained my two credit cards, although the interest of the missing sum was 14% per year. I was 30% below my average investment price. I remember when I went to the supermarket I didn't buy some expensive food, because I was so depressed. I continued to DCA until I decided to take a small loan with 4.9% yearly interest in early March. I had the opportunity to take 5x bigger sum, but I decided to wait in case some crash follows. So I've bought between $9K and $7.7K. Then the most dramatic crash I've witnessed happened. But this time I was so used to crashes, that I said to myself: meh, if this price holds for several months I will go to the bank for the new loan. But now I don't want to risk getting covid infection.

So I continued to DCA and in the summer an unexpectedly big profit in gpu mining allowed me to get even more BTC's. I know it is best not to sell anything untill 200K, but... because of my belief in Bitcoin, I took a bigger risk with these loans. So, I've decided to sell these coins, they weren't mine after all. Thus the bank will get from me several hundred bucks, while I get from it several tens of thousands  It is time for me to close the loans, replace the damaged hardware and to learn how to hodl in exponential growths. Man, this is harder than I thought! 30K, 50K, 100K, ... how I will resist the temptation to sell too much too early, I don't know. The problem is that I have only one dream - a big luxury house or a villa at some paradise beach/island. No more greasy streets, dull life and stupid bosses and people around me! I just need to summon all my mental powers so that this change will cost me like 1/5th of my stash one day, when we are well above 100K.

He did say he might be missing something, so he is asking for feedback and wants to be corrected. What will happen is that many will say the same things we already know and he probably won't be convinced enough, but at least he is asking in a two way conversation (most of it his way, but that's just the way he thinks.)

Remember the dissapointment of the first day with volume of several bitcoins? Well, this escalated quite fast to the levels of the biggest exchanges! And this is still unnoticed among the other 'hot' news about defi and microshares. Defi is having currently around 100 000BTC locked into smart contracts and rising of course. More and more serious investors and companies are accumulating bitcoins causing a shortage on the spot exchanges. Good times are coming and the bears know it! Of course they will fight desperately between 10K and 20K to be able to buy cheap coins as long as possible. But when the ATH is breached, the real FOMO will start. Then the SEC morons like Jay Clayton will realise that invetstors do not need their approval to invest in Bitcoin. The obstacles they've built are not applied for Bitcoin. Peeps like Clayton and Mnuchin are bastards of the fiat adultery, while we are the true heirs of the only asset that will survive and get stronger with time.

So, are there any knife catchers left trying to gain from 5 min 1-2% drops? They must be completely blinded and not being able to see the big picture. It is funny how such plankton is coming here to boast with a leverage short profit. It is like a child boasting with his 2+2=4 calculation to a professor who invented a new branch in math. I don't know to laugh or to pity such n00bs. Especially, considering that 90% of the Binance trades are of sums below 0.01 BTC. And even if they make a profit on the first trade, the second will  be a loss to devour both their profit and their investment. Patetik and Haaalerius!

Maybe I am naive but I am taking him at his word.  I think he is wondering... wait, what is going on here?  Am I missing something and asking for perspective.  Otherwise why would he offer such a large target to all the drooling bitcoin twitter carnivore chorus?

I would assume he might be contacted by some people in his own sphere who are starting to pile in with some perspectives he will respect.

This could be the start of the orange pill process for him.

Eh, I have my doubts. He's asking the question just like J.K. Rowling asked the same question. I.E. in a very condescending, simplistic way as if they already know what Bitcoin is all about, but just want to pontificate. Such is how narcissists talk to the masses. Because the masses can't possibly know something that they don't, right?

IMHO, you can't truly know what Bitcoin is and how important it is until:

1. You fully understand what problem Bitcoin is trying to solve.

--and--

2. How truly fucking DIRE and SERIOUS that problem is.

If you don't understand these two things, then even if you kind of understand Bitcoin at a quasi tech-level, you will still never truly "get it". And if you are already wealthy, you may not even care (Winklevii and Saylor types notwithstanding).
