I also should mention that if you missed the grilling of a trembling Gary Gensler then you need to look up that video immediately.

Here's the Q&A between McHenry and Gensler (linked at its beginning)
https://youtu.be/A9yAdi8Knzg?t=470
Great show!

It has been many years, and Gary is still not sure whether Ethereum should be classified as a security or a commodity.  Shocked

“less than 70% government-funded”

Government consists of politicians and civil "servants". Do you think they reach into their wallets or bank accounts to fund anything?

It's the taxpayer who does all the funding.

Hopefully, it's common sense in the WO that government funds are received extorted from the people in some way or another.

I think he's absolutely sure that meth is a security.  Anyone can see that it is a security (roadmap, staking, pre-sale, devs deciding,  etc).

I guess he's afraid to pull the plug and take the blame.  He knows there is a lot of money involved and maybe he wants to get a clear signal by tptb (his handlers) first...

Nice little erection.

some would say:   "it's not the size that matters..."

......yeah, sure Roll Eyes Grin

The maintainability of it is far more important than the size.

An epic 10 that fails to maintain its self is a classic flash in the pan story.

that depends on the user...  some would rather experience a 10 once than a 3 repeatedly...

also maintainability and size can go very well together.  why see them as mutually exclusive?

Your argument is a bit like:   "a reliable slow car is better than a fast one"

I'd say:  "Depends on how fast you wanna drive. And there are reliable fast cars, as well"

If maintainability comes first (pun intended)
The 10 is better for those that can fit it.

But if the 10 fails constantly it turns into a pain in the ass. ( that pun was for bob)

You are correct in that a perfectly maintainable three would be a drag.

I was going with the idea that most  adult males fall in the five to seven zone.

Given the choice of same size you have now, but perfectly maintainable always works and delivers the goods if is far better than a ten that fails more than 50%

I'd say it really depends.  There will be some with a 5 who would sacrifice 50% of maintainability, when they can get a 10 to perform with the remaining 50%  Cheesy

Anyways, I think I have missed the actual point...  so let me correct:

A "nice little erection" is, as it says, "nice", but out of my experience I'm certainly happier with a full blown one  Tongue

Probably just a $725 million campaign to confirm US user details.

They will probably ask for heavy duty KYC after you fill in the form.

Probably not a good thing short term for the BTC price if this happens but long term the USA could be cutting itself off BTC, at least lose control of the most used on and off ramps.
Not a bad thing I reckon.

In the end BTC doesn't give a flying fuck (some of the reason for this carry on appears to be the staking stuff - could also just be hollow threats from Armstrong).
