All investments are “fun” during the booming markets, cryptocurrencies very volatile and reflect the true market sentiment , just as it was with traditional assets during their market development on the early stages.

There's a lot of risk. If you have done investments earlier in any securities exchange this will not be similar. In an exchange you usually have lower circuit to cut down on investor's losses & upper circuit to avoid undesired highs caused by manipulations from HNI. In cryptocurrency, there's no such circuit. Your capital may erode 50% a day or increase by 10x. But, like in securities markets, if you buy good cryptocurrencies, it will pay you better in long run.

I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

What we can say here is just a mere opinion because we can't calculate the risk in investment whether in bitcoin or in just a form of a bitcoin for example in  some website who offer high interest for your bitcoin. You must research first on which site is the best to invest on. And do study on how trading works.

Investing is very risky way to earn bitcoin because we dont know if bitcoin will increase in that day or decrease. But if you want to earn you need yo wait for ling time or right time to increase your profit.

in investment program theres a risk, all investment program had a risk. so dont invest much if you cant afford to loose, its like a gambling that whether you bet high your can win high, but of course set it in your mind that theres a chance to loose your bet because no one in gambling wins twice so better think twice before you decide to go thru, but for me investing in bitcoin has a low risk of loosing, because as you can see, year past by and the bitcoin became more grower than what it is before. so the risk is low.

The total number of Bitcoins circulating in the market by 2040 is only about 21 million, but so far the total number of Bitcoins in circulation is 16.4 million, with a market capitalization of about $ 45 billion. Every day Bitcoin value is traded in the world about 1.8 billion USD (10 times more than trading on Vietnam stock market).
That is why so many big investment funds are investing Bitcoin and are approved to pay at hundreds of thousands of businesses in many countries. If Bitcoin virtual currency has increased three times since the beginning of the year, it will bring huge profits to players. As compared to the first trading date on September 5, 2009 with a starting price of 1 Bitcoin = $ 0.00076, less than 9 years, this virtual currency has increased by 3.5 million times.
The numbers show that Bitcoin is developing very strongly and the trend is rising fast in the long run. Unlike other commodity currencies, the rise or fall in prices is more relevant to the real economy, while Bitcoin increases and decreases mainly depending on the speculation, the extent to which the real economy is not large. . So for individual investors, investing in Bitcoin is extremely risky because of the volatility of the virtual currency.

Bitcoin is not controlled by any government or individual, you should think about if some major powers like the US or China abstain Bitcoin (probably for reasons like money laundering, drugs etc.). ), the closure of the floor based in the country, Bitcoin prices will fall like? If belief no longer, Bitcoin will become meaningless no less. If you think it is unaffected, think about how many Bitcoins the lot of investors on the floor are confiscated, how other players will feel about their money.
Most recently, a longtime Bitcoin operator, BTC-e.com, has been shut down by the FBI, which still has information the floor owners are trying to rectify and compensate investors, but is now More than a month, and investors are still waiting.

There is no such risk in Bitcoin investment as it can only be hacked and that is too hard. As such it depends on the price of Bitcoin.

The same risk you can find in other stock markets. Just like I want to say low on Bitcoin risk and I actually believe Bitcoin is more secure, so we can invest Bitcoin without risk.

I think investment in Bitcoin is a risk, because the price of Bitcoin is now worth it, then its value can be reduced and may increase. Bitcoin will work as a major milestone for our future, despite the risks in the betting. And judging from the charts and growth bittacquines can be very profitable for the future, just buy and hold some coins for yourself so that you can benefit in the future and buy bitcoins at the right time so that you can sell for profit at one time.

There are 50-50 percent risk in btc investment.
It is truth that Bitcoin is so profitable now but no one knows actually what is waiting for next.
without risk it is not possible to Achieve some good things.

A better way to think about it is what percentage of you're net assets are you prepared to put into Bitcoin?

Couldn't agree more, if anything Bitcoin is one if not the largest bubble our generation may see in terms of possibility for financial gain.

If you buy for long-term investments, you can take it at any time. But it's better to always diversify the risks, so consider the option of dividing your deposit into several crypto-currencies. And so, in the next few years, this market will only grow, invest more boldly. All in your hands.

My definition: Risk = permanent loss of capital

I don't think that bitcoin is risky because the long term value WILL be higher in the future. However, there will be a lot of volatility getting there.

People have a thinking that bitcoin is all about risk factors, so when it comes to investment through the same risk seems to be high. In my view the highest risk investing through bitcoin is the less availability of legitimate investment services and secondly its hard to segregate the legitimate and the scammers who come with different investment plans.

Well, if you don't believe investing in Bitcoin is not risky, then go ahead buy even 0.5BTC and let's see what will happen in the future.

Some will have heard how Bitcoin turned early investors into millionaires, as the price soared from a few US cents to thousands of dollars.
It is up more than 500 per cent in a year and is now worth three times as much as gold.
However, experts warn it is tricky to buy and volatile, so you need to understand what you are getting into.

Of course, any investment in bitcoin is at risk and we can only predict prices that are not exactly sure how bitcoin will be in the future and the price may go down like a few months ago, bitcoin prices may drop if there is a major event and judge from the graph and growth bitcoin can be very profitable for the future just enough to buy and hold some coins. If you are satisfied with growth or not. Cool
