But still there are many cases where the criminals are easily traced through connecting various transactions and addresses. The thing is Bitcoin is not better than fiat in any way for funding criminal activities. Countries through some regulations can make Bitcoin easily traceable when required. Fiat is way more anonymous than any cryptocurrency.

They bought drugs in the dark web and paid with bitcoin.
Because of such reports, people can get very negative image about bitcoin.

spot on! criimnalities are already in existence even before the creation of bitcoins. Hence, criminals can get away with using either fiat money or cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, monero, and more coins. Bitcoin, just like fiat money, has really no control over the mind hold it.

I agree with you. Cybercriminals have always been and will be regardless of whether there will remain in the future crypto currency or not. Similarly, for any criminal purposes, you can use any currency. Bitcoin has no role here
