They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities. This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along. Bitcoin is a new form of currency that has dominated the cryptocurrency market and to any forms of asset right now. It has a privacy, fast, safe and decentralized technology which makes the crypto community loves Bitcoin the most. Criminals arround the world existed even before Bitcoin had created by the legendary founder Satoshi Nakamoto. Criminals thousands of years ago used precious metals and fiat money as form of fund but now they adopted the newer and anonymous blockchain technology to avoid getting caught and being tracked by authorities. For me fiat money and precious gems/metals has the highest rate of fund committed crimes compared to Bitcoins because low/high profile criminals still use centralized assets thousands of years ago until these days while in Bitcoin, criminals used it more or less eight years now. I think some authorities doesn't recognize or maybe blinded by bribe given by powerful entities involve in drug cartels, corrupt politicians, black propaganda against individuals/companies/organizations/political party/nation, terrorists and hitmen using huge volume of fiat money during transactions in distribution of funds. I believe that majority of these criminals are using centralized assets than the digital money Bitcoin. That has been proven by our government that criminals are using millions or even billions of our local currency as funds and I am happy our present elected officials are good guys that whole heartedly serves our country and had not failed their promises to the people. |

Indeed, there are many bitcoin disadvantages. Bitcoin is anonymous, so bitcoin can be exploited by criminals and the government can not trace criminals. So some countries do not like bitcoin.  |

yes i believe there is a lot of criminality using bitcoin. Because with bitcoin we do not need the verification of personal data. I've seen on youtube many deep web users who use bitcoin as a means of payment.
Well I think both of them are different from each other bitcoin is a digital currency and crime is different if someone is using bitcoin for crime so it’s good because bitcoin is here to help people and I believe that bitcoin is going to help humanity so we need to study about bitcoin in detail in order to we know what bitcoin is going to teach us. |

Well I think both of them are different from each other bitcoin is a digital currency and crime is different if someone is using bitcoin for crime so it’s good because bitcoin is here to help people and I believe that bitcoin is going to help humanity so we need to study about bitcoin in detail in order to we know what bitcoin is going to teach us. The world still use Dollar for crime if we do not have Bitcoin for crime. Therefore, I do not think this is the best reason to blame the existence of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency like normal currency, both are tools to help the world's economy and payment system. As long as we use Bitcoin and cryptocurrency honestly and transparently, there is no reason to worry about the future of Bitcoin. |

Many people think that bitcoin is associated with criminal activities such as money laundering and funding for terrorists, but i think it is wrong, because most people think that bitcoin is anonymous.
Probably because someone uses bitcoin as a criminal activity that makes bitcoin bad and negative in the eyes of many people.

Yes I think there may be a link between criminality and bicoin. Although Bitcoin may be the safest and not the most 'bad' way to use money, it does not mean that no criminals use it. Just like normal money, there are 'bad guys' who use Bitcoin. But there are two important things to note - first, as more and more data is available in the industry, the more obvious the number of nasty cases, that is, very, very small. If the Bitcoin ecosystem is likened to a large mountain, then the size of the evil parts is just a few blocks of rock. Secondly, in every financial system, this is a risk that can not be eliminated and can only be reduced, and Bitcoin has the best tools in the world for it.

What should the government focus on is to secure their trading ports so no illegal shipment would sneak off. They should support cryptocurrency so that people would not think to do inappropriate operations. Agreed. This all happen on our mentality, these are we humans who either use the technology positively or negatively it does not depend on the technology. If we come to bitcoin then why don't we blame our mentality because we are getting involved into wrong issues, the currency is not forcing us to do so. Even crimes also existed in the past when no such technology was introduced on internet |

Criminals are not stupid people, they are complacent with their communications and use it to harm others, criminals are always looking for and using anything, bitcoin is an example...although bitcoins bring a lot of benefits to our lives, they also benefit criminals.
