I think bitcoin is not a best option for criminals to use.
You need to be connected to internet to use it, and the way things go in most countries its not so hard to figure out who is using what if you control ISP.Sure there is VPNs and what not. But access to internet is by Passport ID in most countries, which is far more restricted and traceble than exchanging cash on the street. Police just need to catch up with technology, but in the long run all transactions are saved forever, so every time you transfer money to someone for something illegal you are creating digital footprint of this action. And since you still need fiatto buy your cool ferrari - IRS will be on your ass in no time.

Bitcoin is a criminal's paradise in phrases of storing their cash if you want to say it as that but criminality is all about the globe in all factors so Bitcoin is not exempted in criminal performs even though, in each each 1 of the fiat forex that exist nowadays is currently being use by bad and excellent folks so what is the distinction.Just settle for the truth that it is evil if you use it as one particular, it relies upon on how responsible you will use your Bitcoin in your life and other else's daily life.

Right after reading through the website as you have offered it isn't going to displays that the bitcoin is playing a role in crime, these types of criminal pursuits was happening even prior to bitcoin. Online banking websites was hacked several occasions in the entire world this will not suggest that banking institutions also performs a function in criminal offense.

Yes I think there is a relationship because of the bitcoin nature as an anonymous currency that can be used online and offline it could have increased some online criminals like trans-European drug trafficking and no ID and proof. And so some criminals have had the idea of using bitcoins to use bitcoin in their crimes.

Bitcoin is arguably a novelty which is why law enforcement against crime involving bitcoin has not received significantly consideration. So, the criminals can nevertheless discover it. But I'm sure, faster or afterwards, as the variety of crimes involving bitcoin increases, of training course lawmakers will just take motion by applying new laws to ensnare the criminals.

https://www.deepdotweb.com/2016/01/23/bitcoin-playing-an-increased-role-in-crime-europol-says/

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.

criminals are every where, so even without bitcoin criminals are on to maximize bad activity so why do they involving bitcoin on some role of criminality activity world wide? maybe criminal using bitcoin on their activity but not right that they got banning bitcoin on their country, how about those people who totally use bitcoin for good purposes? they invest some of their hard work to build their dream in the future then this criminals ruin those good future that being build for some reason. thats unfair,

I do not think that bitcoin increased the number of criminals. After all, criminals were before the advent of the Internet and bitcoin, and through the Internet they will be easier to calculate.

Regulation bitcoin it just kills. This in any case should not be allowed.

as a part of the real world BTC is not different. Like every new ALTCoin ANN is based on some old idea from the regular coin world, so also the scam and crimes also got to this world. Expect the worst I say. Where there is money, there is crime.

Yes in some areas or in some situations it has been used, example in the ransomeware before, they make bitcoin as the ransome money that the infected person needed to pay for them for them to retrieve their files, we cant control the people where they can use bitcoin, many people now especially my friends thinks that bitcoin is not good.

Not all criminal activities can be linked with Bitcoin
Bitcoin cannot be used with any kind of criminal activities
But we can can agree that with the use of Bitcoins, those who are into ransom has increased their chances of not blowing up their cover.
Those who use money as payment to drugs, gun smuggling can use Bitcoin to pay and remain unknown
However, not every criminal in this world are into this kind of technology, keep in mind that there are more small time criminals out there that those who are big time and small time ones prefer cash and fast money.

Yup, it's true... why Bitcoin? Bitcoin is not always associated with crime. it's just that many big and international cases carry bitcoin like silk road.

A lot of criminality involves with bitcoin because bitcoin is something that the government is not doing anything with.
So it is not so hard to like scam someone.
According to me bitcoin has no concern with the increasing ratio of the criminality because bitcoin has nothing to do with the criminality, criminality is raising for the lack of the values and the importance of the people , it is up to the people who use bitcoin that how they use it there are good and the bad both kind of people around us so if they are taking the disadvantage of the bitcoin then we cannot blame bitcoin for it because a lot of noble deeds are also happening with bitcoin such as funds and charity etc.

Crime and Bitcoin are hot topics, attracting everyone's attention
Bitcoin is anonymously, it is a virtual property, we can not handle as gold, currency
Therefore, it is a crime that the offender wants to exploit

Agree with you that the sin acs appear before the bitcoin appears long raasts
But thanks to the anonymity of bitcoin that criminals can take advantage of blackmail without anyone knowing who it is.
This is my personal opinion

I guess it is bound to happen to anything of value not just to bitcoin but since bitcoin is a trend online and promises high value as a crypto currency it also gives opportunities for people who wants to take advantage of innocent investors or enthusiast who are willing to pay and take risk. Internet was never completely safe anyway, just becareful out there.

This depends on the individuals.. I hear John MacAfee say Monero payments are more private.. lol..
Like criminals did not exist before Bitcoin.. Just one of their excuses to slow the crypto revolution so that the Banks and Governments can catch up..

These days I just have a discussion with some of my buddies and they still feel that bitcoin is only employed for criminality and illegal pursuits like drugs. Its genuinely tough to argue with them given that they do not genuinely know about the particulars on bitcoin. But I have argued that  its not bitcoin fault that it is being exploited by criminals and there are a good deal of constructive things that bitcoin can be used. Like undertaking buying and selling or earning some in a signature campaign or lengthy phrase investments.
