Already, there is an accusation against bitcoin that its widely used for illegal activities. Now, adding fuel to the fire, some critics say that cyber crimes are being unded with bitcoins and bitcoins have become the first choice of cyber criminals for payment. They like it due to its anonymity but i don't understand why they would choose bitcoins since it is only pseudo anonymous.

There are criminality everywhere but bitcoin used in criminality is really a fact. Some illegal activities are using bitcoin as a payment and way of transactions because bitcoin's transactions are untracable and users remain anonymous which is perfect of illegal activities.

criminal activities were happening even before bitcoin. for example, the ransomware that everyone is talking about these days has been around a very long time before bitcoin was created!

and besides, since bitcoin doesn't offer real anonymity it cannot really help the criminals as much as things like hard cash help them.

Yes, I agree with you. I also do not agree if Bitcoin is said to increase the numbers of criminality. Since before the existence of the Bitcoin, level of criminality is already very high.

Everything has a risk. Even candies has a bad side, it can give you diabetes! I wouldn't be surprised if bitcoin can be used to do evil things like criminality. It's money afterall. I don't know how we can solve problems like that but we  people can help by not following bad peoples footsteps.

The use and holding of Bitcoin is a matter of location in fact. If this currency is not legalized in your country then holding it on can cause trouble. In that case, the holders should hide the truth from the law. Still it should not be addressed as some sort of crime. 

After all it is not doing any harm to anyone. Now that it provides anonymity to its holders, definitely criminals can use this feature in their favor and accomplish their tasks silently.

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.

Everyone can really use bitcoins and it only means that even those terrorist can use it to buy drugs and that is the bad side of bitcoins. Cryptoccureny was banned before in china because of this reason and we are all hoping that cryptocurrency will be soon fully accepted in the community since there are a lot of benefit coming from it.

I think bitcoin's security is not the issue here. It's about bitcoin itself when it is being used as tool for payment for illicit activities anywhere around the world.
For me, bitcoin is really a perfect tool for criminals because they can not be traced since the blockchain is very anonymous. Bitcoin can also be used to fund terrorism and can make you to evade tax from government agencies.

Who said that it is crime mate because it is simple profit nothing else if you are holding bitcoin for saving it to have bright future then it is not a sin. What about he us goverment arresting people for drugs when they are importing drugs and selling it to the citizens on their fbi owned darknet then at the same time arresting millions of people for drugs while they traffic tons.
