Why you sure it will go such low? There will be site rebranding and as my experiense tell me it can be associated with growth of the price.

I think the only way that will happen is if BTC goes to $13-14k, the volume has dropped so low as not many are willing to sell at the current price and most have already exited. If BTC keeps going up it will give people more of a reason to exit at a lower sat value.

Site rebranding its not a big news, with this XEL cant start a good uptrend. We need to more fundamental development news and progress. Without it price will be cheap.

They update us plenty, and people will realise what they missed after release. There's no point to keep the price high for now.

Only noobs are worried about this drop, and hell it could go a lot lower if BTC continues this bull run. Most here are holding long term so to us it doesn't really matter. Most XEL supporters understand development takes time and we are in no rush as long as it is actually happening - Which it is. EK and CR are still working hard on XEL while they have other commitments in their lives, give them some time.

If anyone wants to sell at the ATL in BTC value then go ahead, nobody is stopping you and nothing is guaranteed in crypto but you will probably be angry if XEL does well over the upcoming years.

I too don't care for "brain wallets" but a while back I was discussing this issue w/ EK and he actually had some pretty good arguments as to why they are preferable in his opinion.  Maybe he can post similar comments here to help explain some of the benefits of a "brain wallet" vs the tradition QT wallet.

But rest assured, your coins are safe either way.

Bittrex exchange wallet...

48.6 Million XEL waiting at Bittrex to be traded. That is an unusual high proportion of a coin's total supply sitting at an exchange. More so at one single exchange. Why are so many people waiting to sell it?

Nothing wrong with this.. Where else these coins should be? Not everyone want to install wallet on their PC to hold xel...

I don't know why everybody else is doing this but I can offer you insight as to why I am. Simply put I dislike web wallets and would like to have my funds in a different type of wallet. I can't put them onto a hardware wallet and I don't really know how paper wallets function so not gonna try that first time here. Is there any other options to store the coins? I would like to use a proper desktop wallet but I didn't think this was available yet. Please correct me if I got this incorrect, ty.

I would also like to keep my Elastic on a desktop wallet. If that is possible currently anyway.

I love brainwallets, you just have to be very careful about how you use them! I have run over my trezor with my office chair, I have hidden USB sticks in shirts that I usually don't wear and they ended up in the washing machine and I have glued mnemonic phrases to the bottom of my printer ... then forgot about it and sold it on ebay. Let alone how often I reinstalled my computer without making proper backups. The only thing that has never let me down was my good old brain wallet. I could lose everything, my house could burn down, and I could end up stranded on an uninhabited island; just give me a laptop and I can recover my BTC in a blink of an eye

This project is suppose to be a competitor to the likes of SONM, Golem, RLC but what all these project has is huge capital based, I know Elastic team too did ICO but wasn't as successful as these 3 projects, it will be interesting how it compete in the space

Project progress in steady and when there are new announcements or updates to give they are released (this is true regarding the site and any other facet of this project). We will not release air and we will not make announcements of no substance just to make noise, we prefer to stay more quiet till then. No one owes you any report and if you feel entitled to anything feel free to move on to something else. If you lack the needed patience you are not a good fit for this project.
