Updated Running totals:

5376 chips accounted for in 22 orders equals 244 chips per order.  This number is probably skewed because people posting in this thread probably buy a higher than average number of chips.

10,000 chips = First 41 paid orders.
20,000 chips = First 82 paid orders.

Whelp, here's to hoping they had 20K on order Wink  You bastards and your Big X's

I think they did order 20,000 chips.  They may have been incorrect on some details, and made a couple mistakes, but so far have they have done the major things they said they would, pretty much on time too.

it makes sense to me that they placed two orders of 10,000 chip each.  Perhaps their funds were originating from two different accounts, hence two orders.  Or part of the funds were not available on May 10th so they placed as large of an order as they could to get those chips ASAP.  When the rest of their funding came in, they could have made a second order.

I just got off the phone with the guy. He seems honest enough. Because of bank wires etc its more likely than not my order wouldn't be in the first 20,000 chip batches (but its possible). He felt very confident he could get more Avalon chips quickly though for future units I got a good vibe from the guy overall.

The window for profit is so small here though so if its not in the first batch of 20,000 chips I personally think it wouldn't be worth the risk vs gain. Even if he ordered more chips today which you can assume he will there is no telling if they will beat the other ASICs to market.

Does this help as well?

#445 June 18, 2013 Cancelled - 640 chips -blocked by paypal, over their limit.
#492   June 18, 2013 Cancelled - 576 chips - blocked again for some unknown reason, "error unkown"

Wonder if they reuse order #'s, or that number is simply "deleted"

Just noticed something:
If you choose to buy just 1x K16 board and select some other country (not USA) your only shipping option will be: "TerraHash Hosting".
Maybe you have to buy for more than 250$ for them to send it internationally?

Does this mean that they are queuing by payment time and not order #?

If there are 31 orders equivalent to 31 large 10 module DXs that's all 20k chips.

Yes there are some small orders, but of any have multiple units that 31 order number to 20k chips could be a lot less.

Others will be waiting for at least a further 100 day delivery, at which point Terrahash's focus should be on assembling chip only orders from other group buys...

Make my day! Say thanks if you found me helpful Smiley BTC Address --->

I have talked with Terrahash and you have 5-6 Days to Pay to hold your Queue Spot.

+1

I have an unpaid order #45x for a DX-Large 10 Module with PSU that I probably won't be able to purchase if anyone is interested.

This should still be in the first batch of shipments.

That's 640 chips, right there...

absurd.  Here's to hoping they sort by payment and not order (which would only make sense anyway).

Agreed.

terrahash, it would be nice if the order queue was sorted by payment time instead of by order number. A lot of other companies already do this because an order is not final until you pay.

What about people doing international wire transfers, there 5 day lag on payment puts them at bottom of queue?

Thats interesting because I emailed them and received a response saying that as long as order was paid your place in queue would not be affected.
