You do realize BKK finalized his design probably 48 hours ago and even he does not have any?!?!

My guess would be they would be on order shortly.

Has there been any information from TerraHash about where, when, and how to send them chips from a group-buy for assembly only orders? I've opened a ticket asking about it, but haven't heard anything yet. I've also searched around the forum and the TH website.

Nope, the group buy hasn't received my chips yet, but I want to be prepared. I know TH's office is located at the address on the website, but what I'm wondering is if there are any "official" instructions from TH on where and how they want them sent.

I don't want to have them sent to one address only to find out later that they need them sent somewhere else. Or, to have them shipped and then hear from TH that they won't sign for the shipment until all their parts come in. Or, some other scenario.

I'm assuming I will have them sent to their office address, but I'd rather not assume.

Same situation here with no information from TH. I'm in zefir group buy and chips should be here anytime soon.

I confirmed that all boards will come with one I2C cable. Full cases will have everything needed to run the miner (if you selected to add a PSU). For those of us who did not buy a case, we will need to purchase a PSU (of course), PCIe splitters (If you're running more than 4 boards), and a USB A to Mini B cable.

6. Non case purchasers will have to purchase a PSU capable of powering all of your cards (with a little overhead left.. my preference), PCIe splitters (for more than 4 card miners), and a "USB A to Mini B" cable to connect the host board to your PC or Raspi.

It would be nice to get more details on this from Terrahash ... We want to know if customers who ordered full case but without PSU ($900 for DX Mini case or $1200 for DX Large) will have everything needed to run miner except PSU.
I want to make sure that I can start mining as soon as I receive my DX Mini (ordered without PSU because I already have one powerful enough that was used for GPU mining) or I need to order PCIe splitters. If you ask me it make sense to get the PCIe splitters as part of the expensive case but ... I may be dreaming ....

I would recommend giving them a call and asking. Since I don't have a case on order, it didn't occur to me to ask that question. They answer their phone. Give Amir a call.

We are glad to announce that we  have secured two additional early-may Avalon ASIC pre-orders, each for 10,000 chips. With these additional 20,000 chips along with our own May 10 and May 16 orders, we have enough chips to ship all the orders received till now in the first batch.

Well, I guess that helps explains terrahash's reluctance to release the proof of "early-May" purchases.

Actually, they do have 20k more bulk chips on order. I noted it in my first report. Amir stated that they made an arrangement to purchase another 20k from an early may order of an individual who lives in the Bay Area. He stated that they paid a premium for those 20k extra chips, but they wanted to make sure that we would be able to get our boards done at the same time. They really seem to be doing whatever it takes to make sure that they stay within the projected mid August delivery date. I did not photograph the invoice for that early May order, because the invoice belongs to the original buyer. I don't doubt that it is happening though. There is no reason to make such a thing up when they already have 40k chips on order.

Amir, if you have a moment, can you shed any additional light on this for the forum?

what is the ETA on the finalization of these boards? when can i put an order down?..

on the other hand terrahash, care to do some trade? eg: had full of chips for a couple of boards? probably not worth getting 50 chips for 2 boards, you'd enough to make 1 more board and some..
If not, i could throw the 6BTC at you for 2 boards, i think that little extra could help

They ordered on April 19th

This is the second time in the last week we have seen someone get their order of chips within 93/94 days from order

While not officially a trend, it is 2 out of 2, so Terrahash will get their first order of chips on August 13th (+/- a day)
Which means they may start shipping August 27th
Which means we should see product last week of August, First week of September.

No Terrahash we really don't need to hear from you, because your website clearly states:

Terms and Conditions: Shipping dates depend upon when we receive the chips from you. Once we have your chips, we will ship your order within 2 weeks.

Also your website has your shipping address where to ship chips so that is covered also.
