hey folks - i have tried to install the wallet in win 10 but it is still not working at all ;(( I can't register with the community forum until I have a wallet address either.

I downloaded the zip file from the website but when I click on the .exe file - the onion graphic appears and disappears on my desktop and there are no deeponion processes in my task manager.

Can ANYBODY help me please - this is doing my head in lol

Sounds like your antivirus is catching it and removing it. Double check and see. If it is, make it an exception, and run it again.

Did you extract contents of zip file and than opened the .exe. Try running it as administrator and see if that helps. Try to download it again and see if that new download works.

These are just some options that you can try, please reply if anything has worked so we can help you further if not.

Yes there are 3 files in the zip file.
As suggested try to see if your antivirus is stopping the wallet from starting.
If you have access to a different PC try to start the wallet there just to verify that the files work, and that the problem is on your PC.

one important issue: you need to have an account registered before sept 1st 2017.

Hello. At first your BCT account have to be registered before 1st of September - You are good.
You have to be at least Jr. member.
You have to wear appropriate signature according to your BCT membership. Signatures are enabled once you are Jr. member and above.
You have to be registered on DO forum.
You must have at least 10 high-quality posts per week.

This is the minimum but it would also be good to be active on DO forum too.

Have seen the "Block Splitting/Combining for Staking" tutorial made by ssowellsvt. Just to make sure that I understood correctly:

Let´s assume that there is a wallet with 1 address and 4 blocks, each around cca 250 Onions as a result of trading. In such case, there will be no need to split or combine these blocks as the recommended block size in this tutorial is 250 Onions, correct?

And in case of successful staking, it will be just 1 of these blocks which will stake and only weight of this one block will go to zero afterwards?
