After 4h connected to bitmain.com (from 4 in the morning till 8:00) I managed to order one. Sent the payment immediately after. lets cross our finger the ROI will remain less than 12months.....in November!

ROI 12 months?! WTF are you talking... please explain ( in PM if you will )
Also i ordered one and the satus was like Valid, Expired, Valid, Expired and now stays on Expired. Bitmain is off for the weekend so if nothing happens we will have to wait to monday.

I had exactly the same experience. Left few tickets on support service, but still no reply. Hope on Monday they solve this issue and i'll get my pcs.
If Dash difficulties rise to 6M (which will be probably be in November), monthly profit will be around 350. But it's for my power cost. You could calculate different scenarios using sophisticated calculator on coinwarz.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

We had a lot of issues too. We buy in bulk for CloudSigma because we offer cloud mining/hosting. It is possible to get units but we had 5 people for three hours constantly working on fixing their broken purchasing workflow and still orders expired because they weren't recognising incoming transfers properly.

We did get a lot of units and have about 190 D3s with PSUs available though. If anyone missed out PM me because it's possible for us to help out with some of the units we can spare.

BTW my company is CloudSigma (see www.cloudsigma.com ) . We are a Swiss company around since 2009 with ten cloud locations worldwide so we are not out to scam everyone.

I agree with everyone on here, the purchasing with Bitmain is really unacceptably unreliable for everyone.

I checked www.cloudsigma.com, looks like cloud computing and storage only. Do you offer cloud mining?

To all those complaining about expired orders - it says in RED and BOLD in every confirmation e-mail:

Your order may expire if Bitmain does not receive payment within one hour. If your payment is submitted on time but receipt is delayed, we will confirm the payment and then update the order to "Valid".

Chill.

has Anyone here experience buy or sell Antminer on Amazon? Is it easy to return or get returned the miner within 30 days?

The last antminer I saw on amazon had a restocking fee of up to 40 percent from the seller. I would generally stay away from online marketplaces because though typically they side with the buyer (you), you'd have a hell of a time proving anything to them since this has become a hot item rich with scams and problems.

But thats just an anecdotal instance from a friend, ymmv. Good luck!

I can offer some insight into this. While pricing is definitely a lot higher, Amazon has great consumer protections that make it really easy to return miners within 30-days. Sellers DO have the ability to charge a restocking fee unless they are using Fulfillment By Amazon (Prime). The restocking fees are often set high as a way to discourage scammers. For example, we receive a ton of returns right before the 30-day mark for mining devices. Many unscrupulous customers attempt to "rent" miners and then return them after mining for a month. That is why you rarely see mining devices sold using Prime - sellers using Prime for mining devices are practically begging to get ripped off and is often the sign of an inexperienced seller.

Here's what you should expect if you want to return a mining device on Amazon:
  • If there are any delays or problems with the device, you will have no problems getting a full refund and return shipping is usually pre-paid. Planning for power requirements, noise, and heat management is the buyer's responsibility.
  • If you are returning a device that is fully functional, then you should expect to pay a restocking fee. The sooner you return the device after receiving it, the less the restocking fee will be. Waiting until day 30 will guarantee that you pay the full restocking fee.

Of course, there are lots of really bad sellers on Amazon too that are either scamming or just incompetent. Pay attention to shipping dates and feedback ratings.

omg I need power supply. I have ordered D3 in previos batch.

FYI: Use this link (still not accessible at the moment, but may be a 'back door' after the site is back up again): https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020170802143751593t5IHEi4Q0667

I was able to buy one using this link a few hours ago...

THANK YOU. It shows up in my account properly after checking out, so hopefully Bitmain actually honors it. May I ask how you found the hidden product page?

Hey guys ... hopefully this will ease some tensions that are out there.

I submitted my payment 15 minutes after the D3 went on sale, and then the order went expired.  I submitted a ticket to let them know I had made payment and that it had 6 confirmations on my end.  they replied to wait until tomorrow, that it still needed time to confirm.  That was about 3-4 hours after payment was made.  After that email my order was marked valid again, but then an hour later it was expired for the second time.  I decided to let it ride.

After a quick 5 hour power nap  Grin, I woke up to an email saying my order was confirmed, now it is marked valid and paid.

I think the problem is that they're moving every transaction they receive from the payment address to their main bitcoin wallet, and because of so many transactions going to one wallet, it's taking forever.  After 4-5 hours the movement of my payment to their wallet still had 0/6 confirmations, so this is what is causing the delays I believe.  I'm sure they do this in order to protect the funds (overkill precaution in my opinion), which I suppose makes sense when dealing with this many transactions at once.

If you made payment within the allotted time, and your order is expired.  They WILL verify you, it just takes time.  It's hard as hell, I know first hand, but be patient with them. They're honestly doing their best I believe, even though I'm sure we all feel like that could be much better (and it could).

Is this website actually real?
I already got royally screwed ordering from this website: https://shop-antminer.com/store/

My complaint thread/history is listed here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2079329.0

Bottom line I sent these assholes bitcoin for 3 rigs and their site is a scam.

If I were you guys I would NEVER pay for anything if they only accept crypto-currencies.
I would rather use paypal or credit card in case you get screwed like I did.
Then at least you can have insurance in case the website is a scam.

I learnt a hard lesson

Good luck, I would not order from this website if they only accept crypto currency.

bitmain is trusted.  I have personally received everything i ever ordered from them, and they are trusted by the bitcoin community to deliver.   And they take USD too.

There are a lot of scam sites.  Everyone needs to search here on the forum and ask before ordering with any site.  Only buy from trusted sites and companies.  You will get ripped off if you don't do your homework.

Bitmain's ordering system and web site SUCKS and they will never fix it... It has been this way forever.  And every time there is a new batch release we go through this circus.

If you ordered from the Bitmain site directly(watch the spelling, there are scam sites with slight variations in spelling that look like the Bitmain site) and you paid within the hour of order you just need to be patient.  I have seen them take several days to sort out the orders and update the status.  Bitmain can be frustrating to work with, but they are trusted here in the community.

I rarely receive a confirmation email until they manually mark the order as paid a few days later.

There have been quite a scam few sites that "spoofed" the real Bitmain site.
That's not BITMAIN'S fault, and if you got taken that's YOUR fault for not watching the adddress (that hyphen is NOTICEABLE).

Bitmain themselves have a very good reputation for not shafting folks on orders - the bad part of their rep is about pathetic support on broken miners, and somewhat poor reliability on recent designs.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!
