No one has access the site right at the moment. Those who made withdrawals immediately before appearing issue are doing these ups and downs in the market. It is not good to blame for every dip to rewards holders. They are actively updating on social media that's why I am waiting patiently to have access to my account as they are working for us.

I am really very interested about this project and wish to know more about the mining procedure the way you guys is going to do it ! what resources will be utilized on the mobile for exploration ! And if this coin is based on cellular mining which means no one can my own it utilizing laptop computerOr desktop computer etc .. ? . Because if a coin made to be found by mobiles it will for sure be crowded out to my own it with desktop computer . I like the whole concept and will probably purchase some cash later on these days .

Nah actually people are mining it with GPU's as we speak. (desktops/laptops)

The mobile mining is fake and is just pretend mining.

Sorry to disappoint ya. lol.

You guys should have realised that this project is full of FUD, when this advertisement agency marketed an animated mobile miner as "revolutionary" (yeah, probably in 3D deception).

This security issue, nonetheless, is probably going to carry on until the project is dead and forgotten, before the company comes up with some excuse to exit the game with your investments.

If you can, dump now. If you purchased the ICO, I'm sorry for your loss.

Very clumsy start for Electroneum and made many ICO investors angry, including myself, as we missed the fun on trading, tho I managed to mine some before the difficulty went up, but technically I have not lost money as I made double amount that I invested.
And I am holding my ETNs at least for 6 months as I know ETN will go to the MOON once they fix the mess up! That's my take on Electroneum!

Yeah it is a very good week but the price keeps on tanking and making the investors panicked, a lot of the investors are new to crypto and does not know anything about mining and how to use the CLI wallet, if ETN manage to release a GUI wallet together with the web wallet later this month the price might go up and make a lot of people happy.

I began mining a few days ago.
Is it safe to assume that I won't recieve any etn to my wallet at this time despite my pool having paid out?

Generate a paper wallet and use the cli to access it.
Don't mine at the official pools, you won't get any coins but use etn.uax.io instead.

uax.io is the pool i've been using, and  I received no payment yet. I changed to pool.electroneum.space yesterday, same deal. pool says it paid out, but nothing in the wallet.
I've deleted and reloaded the block chain about 3 times now. still nothing.

I created a new wallet address using the cli and i've been mining with that one. is that an issue?

They are using their brain to bring down the price of Electroneum to 1 cent the ico price so they can buy big time, these are latecomers who want to buy more after seeing how huge this project will become in the long term, we can expect more until the website launch.

Dev team failed hard on the launch, that much is fact. The attacks began happening before the early close of the ICO, at about $30million raised. At this point they should have been working their asses off to correct the issue for a successful launch. I'm sure the reason the attacks occurred was because they bragged about it being secure, however I had to enter an email address and password for signup, no confirmation or anything required. Many accounts have been noted as multiples, which means the number of registered users could be highly inaccurate and may not have the most registered users in ICO history; and we may never know the real numbers.

Now I agree that hiring hacker one is a good move...if they actually hired them....wouldn't mind seeing an official statement from hacker one that they are working with Electroneum.

I personally feel that all trading with ETN should be suspended until the issues are resolved, as currently the only people that are able to sell their tokens are miners, or people that bought on the exchange. This has resulted in a lot of the community gaining a distrust for the devs and ETN. The result will be a dump on the market if & when the ICO coins are released. Furthermore how many newbies to crypto will be scared away by this course of events. Poor communication by the team, lack of viable information when communications are released, and too many delays. The longer it is the less confidence new users will have in cryptocurrencies.

Honestly this could have been handled much more effectively, but now so many investors feel screwed over, and this will likely turn out to be good only for miners.

Half way into ico should have given them signal about tighten up securities, the number of members on telegram was insanely increasing by minutes yet they refuses to see warning signs to secure investors funds, that was so unprofessional of the team the their various acclaimed professional background, now investors have to suffer the long wait and hope the teams can get their act together.

This is not a scam. If it was, don't you think they would of just ran off with the ICO money to never be heard from again? They've had their issues with the launch of course, but most here want instant gratification and to get rich quick. Give it time. Once they get up and running it will be worth it. Be patient and HODL!!!
