Alcurex is fine, indeed a large exchange is better but YAC don't have great volume in last year, and now with Bter issue is almost no exchange for YAC. (initially MRC was scrypt jane)

Surely a working exchange with low exchange is better than one folks don't trust? I am reluctant to send coins to BTER at the moment due to perceived issues etc...

I have to agree with this.  It may be impossible for BTER to rebuild their trust with the community.  With the number of people reporting scams and ripoffs, I'm supersized they are still in operation.  Either way a new exchange would probably be the best.  Hopefully Alcurex adds it soon.  It looks like YAC is next on their list to add; based on the donations.

On a side note - is anyone using Windows 10 to mine?  I was trying to set up a miner yesterday using minerd-yacoin_stratum_x86_2_4_0 & minerd-x86-corei7.exe yesterday afternoon but it just crashes.  It worked fine on Windows 7 just a few hours before the upgrade.

Also, this miner still shows as a Trojan on AVG and windows defender.  Anytime I want to mine with it, I always have to add it to the exception list.  I personally know a few miners that this has scared off from mining YAC.  Does anyone know what is causing this miner to be flagged?  I mean cgminer, sgminer, bfgminer, etc. all work fine and are comparable AFAIK; but they are not flagged as 'a virus'.

Edit:  Isn't v 0.4.5 supposed to have an integrated miner in the wallet?

For what it's worth, Bter support just responded to all 3 of my open tickets with the phrase "still working on it.Thanks for your patience." [sic]

No YAC deposits have appeared in my account yet, but that's something I guess.  I've been making small test deposits about once per day-- will update if they ever show up.

I have voted (purchased) 2000000MRC for list YAC.  Situation there is now 5000000. After next 5000000MRC (50mBTC) they promise list it.  Money talks. I do not know how long it take if infinite to get listed in Cryptopia.

There is registered company in Finland behind it, with address, with real true indentified known peoples in goverment registry and these data are public.
But, it still need 50mBTC for list.  If someones together now  pay 250mBTC (total 300mBTC=0.3BTC) YAC is listed using Express service...

Part donate coin with 1,000,000 and when donations reach 10,000,000 microCoins, coin will be listed in here.

(discl: I do not have any kind of relationship with Alcurex or any peoples behind it.  Short time ago registered account and done some "homework" for inspect its bacround) What I like it is simply and very active admin and it looks that if someone haave some problem he help  many times even online (chat). )

Btw, "fun" to look what happend in YAC markets in Bter. Deposits are suspended (and without any public note from Bter  ) but someone is doing "pump up". Bter or Bter insider itself?
After my three tickets every tiicket I get short answer and nothing else. No estimate how long it takes.
Also it is not at all fair. With this kind of problem they need add public note visible so that peoles do not send YAC.  (YAC's you send, they are there in your deposit address ok. Only missing is account balance. How difficult it can be to keep account balance in order. What kind of magpie's nest is Bter system.  If you follow more what happend in Bter you know that YAC is not alone with severe problem.

YAC's block zero is dated  1367991220 (local 01:33:40 05/08/2013)
and
that YACC forum is dated 3/13/2014, so that makes YAC > 10 months older than YACC

I know. I was one of the first people mining YAC, but I never heard of YACC until today. I even bought YACC on Poloniex thinking it was YAC. Darn me...
