The user is a resident of Thailand, and he had submitted electricity bill documents which were in Thai language. Stake team has rejected the documents. Even they didn't accept his documents which were in English. The submitted documents need to be in 'Latin international format' as Stake.com accepts this format only. Utility bills are in local language in most of the Asian countries. So, the level 3 and level 4 verification will be complicated for a lot of gamblers who live in Asia.

I honestly think that they are stalling the verification, because they do not have someone that can read/write the Tai language. I think they might outsource the verification of these documents and whomever is responsible, does not have the ability to validate the documents.

Stake will not do this on purpose, because lots of other gamblers has done the level 3 and level 4 verification. In any way... $6000 is nothing for them, because they are making millions of Dollars every week.

In-case for you, got the money from promotion and yeah the KYC are gonna to be triggered because you are promotion (free). Meanwhile me ? who are deposit and getting trigered KYC for 50$ ? that's really f*ck up for me, however based on the case most of these trigered KYC are depends on the game you are playing. I wasn't really surprised by the KYC regulations in several casinos including the one you mentioned, that's why I chose Stake because they didn't ask me to do KYC for withdrawing tens of dollars let alone small money, but I don't want to compare which is the best of all sites gambling platform because I believe that every casino has different rules too, so why stick around at that casino.

There is no problem if casinos ask for a KYC for a valid reason or if they see any suspicious activity, if the amount is high or players place bets on sports. Holy moly! KYC for 50 bucks itself was outrageous, but KYC for 20 bucks along with so much documentation is just plain insanity. I never gambled at Bitsler and I will never recommend it just because of your issue.

About these KYC stuff, each individual have a different case of "KYC" things. Might be on other side they're getting KYC and other side not, so just tried not too see one side only. From my experience playing casino. Almost every casino never tell their users why they triggered KYC. They won't tell you if they find something suspicious about your account. Personally, I don't mind if casinos ask for KYC verification if I play 3rd party games and win a good amount of money. Or, I take any bonus and now want to withdraw the winnings. But, I never heard that a casino triggered KYC even though you never played 3rd party games or took any bonus or promo.

Now, when it comes to verifying KYC for $20, they need several documents, and they won't accept e-statements or e-bills. You have to visit your bank for the statement and visit your gas or electricity supplier office to get a physical bill, it might cost you more than $20 to collect them, and you have to spend your whole day. Who does that for $20?
