Didn't know it would be Stakes birthday month but I think the chances are pretty high it will be some races with big money involvement and a lot of bonus drops. I hope they would do some nice sports betting promotions like triple winnings or stuff like that, but I doubt that will happen.

According to the forum stake.us got it's post monthly today. But that doesn't need to mean anything since they always have totally different dates for everything.

I think there can be a post monthly, most likely tomorrow. The time window for today has already passed, normally it's around 10/11am Japanese time, which was 1-2 hours ago.

Don't expect too much from the stake birthday, every promo these days is pretty underwhelming . But maybe they find a way to surprise us, who knows.

Guys, don't you think that complaining about the bonuses is kinda strange? You were given big bonuses in the past, be grateful for that instead of complaining, that's what I think. Know a better site with higher bonuses - move there.  But you don't know, do you? You remind me of some Americans complaining about bad conditions in their country, like very expensive health care, but would they move to North Korea where health services are offered for free?

It's strange but sadly people who like to complain, complain about everything. Especially when it comes to free stuff. It isn't either enough, it was distributed wrongly, it stopped or some people without accounts weren't included into it. Either that or there's a big conspiracy behind it without any evidence. But i don't think that people are really complaining about bonuses, it's just an excuse to complain about change. When people are used to something, some of them are so fixated into that, that any kind of change will break them.

I don't really get the expensive healthcare analogy. Imho it doesn't fit in this.

"Free stuff", I'm getting triggered when I read something like this. 

When it comes to casino bonuses or incentives nothing is actually free. You have to wager for it, lose for it, deposit in the first place. It is not free. People are getting lured in with incentives likes bonus amounts and over times they cut those amounts to small % of what they once were. Promises are being made, such as "once you get to this level your rewards will stay forever" and 1 year or some months later these things don't exist anymore.

The reloads that come with a host were promised to be permanent. Several people pointed that out here. I also saw that writing on the stake site.

With my first stake account I got my host at platinum 1, till had it at platinum 2 but then got limited and abandoned this account. 2 months later the VIP host, the reloads, the VIP group bonus, it all was gone and he told me if I wager around 50k again I might get him back. Later when I messaged him and saif if this is still on, he said, nah you have to wait until platinum 3 (now platinum 4) to get these benefits again. So what he said first, I can get him back, was also a lie.

That's how they treat their customers, telling stories to make you wager, and when it comes to pay up, suddenly eveything has changed.

What we hope for the most is to get 2x monthly bonus in the 1st-2nd week and if they give daily drops then we can use monthly bonuses to increase the wager
Basically, birthday celebrations should be more special than other celebrations but yeah we can't be sure what events they will prepare let's just wait.
I personally wait for events like this because I can increase my VIP without having to deposit first even if I have to deposit at least I get an additional balance

This isn't a new issue at Stake. It was pointed out by a different user in the Bitcointalk forum on the October month of 2021. His VIP host benefits had been taken away in the same way like yours (see here). We (some forum members) were talking about that, and Stunna tried to clarify the situation here

We're working on scaling our VIP host support. In an ideal world every player would get a VIP host regardless of how much they were wagering. It takes time to train someone up to a point where they can manage high value players effectively. Reality is we've 10x'd our player count the past year while being unable to scale staff headcount to deal with that but we are slowly catching up. There's no excuse for disappointing our players especially Platinum VIP's, we'll keep working hard and try and improve.

Yeah we can speculate anything but we have to wait until the anniversary, as users who do nothing of course we do not expect more but for those who have prepared themselves definitely expect something. I personally believe Stake will provide something because of the special month, it would be weird if on a normal day they gave us pre/post monthly whereas on special days not. Recently I heard in some local group there will be post-monthly but don't know if the source is valid or not but if this is true then it is part of the welcoming celebration IMO. Who knows, the lost budget will be used for celebrations

I do not think that's harsh, first of all people who lost that much got more while they lost it, secondly if they already got what they deserved for what they did "once upon a time" why would they keep getting money from them?

I mean you got it right, it is not okay to ask for them to pay you forever that never makes sense and if you think that people weren't fairly compensated then maybe we can discuss what they could have gotten when they wagered 50k, that would make sense because if you want more while you are losing that I can understand. But they shouldn't ask for more after they stopped playing. Why would stake keep paying to an inactive account that hasn't gambled, that makes no sense to me at all, they should keep it at zero if you ask me.

There should be no reason for you to lose it, if you take a portion of that and you wager it. I am taking my full bonus and I am wagering that and also some of my own money to reach the next VIP level.

So in theory.... if you reach a high enough level, you can wager say 50% of the bonus and then use 50% as a weekly and a monthly reward for yourself as passive income. (Most people do not have the discipline to do that... they just gamble the whole amount)

I calculated.... that if I just use the weekly & monthly bonuses, then I can level up to the next level in 3 years.... but if I bump it with my own money.. then I can do it in 1 year 6 months.

Finally some wise words I am reading about this topic. What you wrote is 100% on point.
What else they could do is announce changes, whatever they are, not just make them and let the players find out about it later. Normally if you change the terms players should be informed and need to accept the new ones. Not just change it and then say "but it's written in the terms". People, if only, read the terms when they register, not every week.
Changing them behind closed doors is a little bit without any info is a bit off. Other sites inform you when they do something like that, stake does not.

Frankly speaking I was one of those who lose VIP host because of the updated terms. I got my VIP host when I reached Platinum 1 few years back but I had to lose it due to the change of the requirement. I did not complain it because I did not really get the "extra" benefits of having VIP host at that time. It was just like a better live customer support, maybe because I had it for short period of time only so I could not really feel the benefits of having VIP host. However, so there is a new rule to keep the VIP host by wagering?

It's not the theory, wagering, money or bonus but the service policy they are provided. There is no information you can lose it with some condition (like not active or wagger).

I face some problems a long time ago, contacting (Suppor Live Agent) on the site they ask me to refer to my VIP-host. In-some case VIP Host have more advantage support rather than support on site.

I dont think it is about having prepared or not in order to expect but it is about the reality with the current situation (the changes) in Stake related to their bonuses.
If there were not many changes in their bonuses, I will expect to see nice bonuses like what they used to give in ther first few years.
By the way, the post monthly bonus is not coming yet while they have sent it to the Stake.us more than 24hours ago.
I'm not sure why stake do not send it globally to all users at the same time.
