From my own perspective Bitcoin can survive 100 years from now, seeing from the look of things about Bitcoin and the rate is it going we can be assured a bit about its existence in the nearest year.

In my own opinion, Yes it will because there are so many people that is interested today on earning bitcoins because of its very high value on the market and with that reason we are assured that bitcoins live very long.

I do think that Bitcoin, 100 years from now, is the universal and main currency of the world, as it was implied onto technology and machines. Due to the growth of the Bitcoin Community, many would support and maintain/speculate it. Yet, mankind has lesser chance to survive that last long. We are already on the midst and a decimal point on starting a war. And worst, is the doomsday made by man's made AI.

After 100 years, it is not possible to give a definite answer to the question whether Bitcoin will survive. Because the next generation of crypto currency comes and one of them can probably take the place of Bitcoin.

Yes, Bitcoin is completely based on technology and value. People are showing interest towards Bitcoin for its price and the technology, even till now many companies are launching blockchain based technology, so Bitcoin is going to be a future currency until human being alive on this earth.

Bitcoin after 100 years? Will actually we dont know what happen on that time, even a child born today doesnt excess on that year also. But i think bitcoin will survive 100 years and more because as we noticed recently bitcoin has risen so high crazily so on the other hand it can live more than many years as we expected.

There are many things that may happen in the future. All will be possible whatever it may be. As long as people uses bitcoin, it will survive. As long as it will be used properly, people are still making investments in here and it will still satisfy the needs of the people.
Honestly it will be all the same for me what will happen in 100 years with Bitcoin. Meanwhile, I believe that some other cryprocurrency can come and replace old BTC. Bitcoin is too slow in transactions even now.

I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential
I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well
But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
I think that bitcoin could possibly survive after a hundred year just as long as internet will not banned by that time or any hindrances for technology to be forbidden. I fear that due to technology, people will fear for the condition of our planet, whether it is still healthy for Earth to endure having advance technology which could potentially ruin nature.

I think it will survive after 100 years but it has some changes because we don’t know what will happen in the future, maybe there are other coins as better as bitcoin and try to defeat bitcoins. And just in case if it happens, it is nonsense because we are not here to take advantage on it.

Haha i don't even know if the world will exist after 100 years. So, no one can give the right answer to this question. No point of thinking if it'll survive.
Haha, Nice answer by the way but we should stay optimistic man. What I exactly keno is that this currency is going to stay in world until there is internet and people alive for consuming bitcoin. I am damn sure about its capacity of ruling world for a long time. Bitcoin has been there for 10 years almost and still no other coin has been able to beat it even once which clearly shows the power of bitcoin for staying in the economy.

A 50 percent yes and a 50 percent no. Because a lot of inventions, innovations and discoveries will might happened within a hundred years. Lets talk about the 50 percent yes, why first 50 percent as far as I know bitcoin is the biggest and known money in digital world so there is a big possibilty that bitcoin will not get loosed in the digital, also there is a possibilty that bitcoin will come reach a value of 100 thousand dollars within that time. However with that many good looking possibilities, there is also a bad possibilities and it is the time when other cryptocurrencies will come to top and get win over bitcoin, that possibilty will much more likely to turn bitcoin shutdown.

Hoho the question is, will Physical Money still exist in the next 100 years? xD hoho as we can see CryptoCurrencies are more easy and convinient to use. Another thing is that as years passed by, technologies are keep on upgrading. who knows, in the future there wont be any coins or money inside their pockets xD. As of now, one thing is for sure, Bitcoin will rise and fly beyond moon xD hoho

Your point is great however nobody can knows the future yet as I would see it BTC can remain for long time on the grounds that many individuals at the present time who acknowledge BTC as methods for installment so if now is many individuals along the world who are intriguing about BTC what about the future so I think following 100 years BTC still survives and remain solid.

I do no think so, The technology in that time is already very high and maybe there is no one using bitcoins anymore and another coin will show but it does not matter because we are already rich before 100 years will pass by.

I think a lot of crypto currencies will be made in that 100 years like what happened in the 9 years of existence of bitcoin but it will not be taking the place of bitcoin and even if it did, I think bitcoin will still be the first and original bitcoin, it will not be replaced by any new other crypto currencies that might be made in the future. Bitcoin will always be bitcoin.

Bitcoin might be called another coin and it would fail after people notice another coin built from someone in the Government.

Nothing is certain when it comes to the future, especially if we are talking about what the world would be like a century from now. Many more technological breakthroughs and advancements would drastically change how we do our transactions and how to use our currencies. But if bitcoin is to become relevant, it must adopt to the changes and continue development so as to cater to a wider audience that keeps changing their preferences over time.
