Maybe the team should give some more info out, or something intresting to keep the attention on the project. Big distraction are going to hapen all the time
Agree , and extend the ICO maybe, at least a few days after the fork. There are a lot of projects currently who extend their sales or bounty programs. It would be good for SOMA if they also think about extending the ICO. The hard fork will be a chaotic time..

Where are we currently at with the fundraising?
ICO will end in 10 days. At the moment: Total tokens distributed 6427106 SCT /450 = ~14282 eth = nearly 5 000 000 usd The counter has only moved by 2000 SCT since your post three days ago. Do you know anything about how they update that counter? Icos takes the biggest share of funding at starting period and finishing period. We are now in the middle with very little activity. Also, there is an upcoming btc fork. Probably 2000 sct is not that bad for this time period. Let's hope you are right. I just went to the beginning of this ANN thread. On the 30th of September, they've sold 6387720 SCT. That equals around 14194 ETH. So they didn't even get 100 ETH in the last 3 weeks. I hope their ICO can gather some momentum before it's finished. Hardly any ICO gets much funds now. Everybody is looking at bitcoin but after that big money will float ICOs. Something else that is a bit weird is that it seems the amount of raised ETH jumped at the beginning of September from 800 to the 14 000 we are now at (can not confirm this because I wasn't following the project from the beginning). Was this when the the angel investor put his money in? That would mean that this angel investor is holding the biggest part of the tokens? Hello, how many raised already? Yesterday I saw about 800eth at website. Now it looks like you've removed the field with ETH amount and I see only tokens beeing sold. Ok, you've sold 6387720. Let's find out how many: 6387720/450 = 14194ETH. Is it correct? Just a bit curious cause yesterday it was 800ETH.

Well we are 3 weeks from 30 september now and that is a long time for an ICO to raise money. Especially if you are a big and popular ICO like SOMA, who also invested a lot of money in marketing. But if you find out anything else, please share your concerns!

How much did angel investor invest? Because if I recall correctly was $1.5 while 13,200 ETH are like $4. Or this angel investor invested before the ICO?

Here is the contract address for Soma: https://etherscan.io/address/0x63b992e6246d88f07fc35a056d2c365e6d441a3dEven though I haven't calculated exactly it seems it doesn't sum up to more than 14 000 ETH.

If I had to guess, btc will dump right after the snapshot date for the BTCG fork, so if people were looking to get into SOMA, the best bang for buck would probably be to buy into the ICO a day before the fork

Anyway, so far they have collected more than 14k ETH which is quite good.

Good review. But it will be very difficult to occupy a large market niche. The competition is very high. In Russia, the main competitor is Avito. Perhaps cooperation with UTRUST will give SOMA some advantages, but small. No. Avito its only desk marketplace. SOma - social networking marketplace (like Pinterest)

It looks like that fork could even not take place. I hope people will invest in alts instead.

Even in this hard period soma sucess a lot I think, the ico work really well and people seems to be very supportive about the project. Its not so important to extand the ico, i think after the end and when soma will be listed on exchange, I think the value will go up soon.
