Well, a bitcoin as a gift is really a bigtime, generous gift. In my opinion, it would be nicer to gift it as a bitcoin than to change it into a paper money. Fiat's value is decreasing unlike bitcoin.

if I was given 1 bitcoin, then some of it I invested, I bought a high potential coin to ride, some of which I will use to meet my needs, which obviously is impossible to take all, partly I set aside for my future investment, so guess about if i'm.

Wow. That is a big big gift for a someone. We all know what is the value of the bitcoin today. In that 1 bitcoin a person or a individual can do a lot of things. He can buy things he need, establish a business and he can help to some charities or even in his own family. That 1 bitcoin gift can somehow change a life of that person. |

For me, if I will be given a chance to received 1 btc as a gift O would probably sell it and use the money because we all know that today's bitcoin value isn't that bad. If we use the money we can somehow use it again to earn some profits. You don't need to be thrifty, as long as you have money, use it wisely. |

If someone give me this i will risk it to earn more and more because 1 bitcoin is a lot of money and that is the best way to start more investing i love to risk money from trading and from investments which it easily to earn bybrisking it to investments i will keep 1 bitcoin while the profit i made i will save it into my bank account directly and see if in next 2byears i made a lot for the future purposes. |

in my current economical situation, i tend to use that 1 bitcoin to invest. Because of the highly demands of this coin, the prices in the future will be higher than right now when i got the bitcoin  |

The price of 1 bitcoin is currently $ 16,000 and I think it's a nice gift, I'll be happy and will keep the gift and I'll give it another $ 16,000 someday if the price has gone up.

This is an expensive gift but even so, if i would make such gifts probably i would make it for my wife or, why not for my self:) At this time bitcoin is an investment in the future. |

It's like a fantasy, but hopefully it can come true. If I get a 1BTC prize, I will sell half of it for me to convert into paper money and capital for business. and the other half I invested and saved a bit, so that later when bitcoin prices go up and higher I can resell it. |

Hold it for long more if you sell it right away that easy then you will miss a bigger opportunity, but if feel you reach your target price don't hesitate to change it fiat and use it

I always choose to keep my btc which a earn doing some microtask but if someone woud give 1btc Im going to sell half and use for buying things I want that would be my gift to myself for working hard lol |

If I would have atleast one bitcoin, I will sell in right away and divide it for my expenses. I will keep the half for my savings just to secure my future. I will use the other half to help my parents with our needs at home, I'm sure that they would be very happy about it. I will also give my partner an expensive gift since he's the one who thought me everything about bitcoin. |

At the price bitcoin is now... convert it straight into REQ! Bitcoin is in a bubble, it may not burst soon but it will and it will drop in price hard. I don't want to be in it when that happens to i'm steering well clear. It is also so expensive to transact on so its just difficult to use in general. |

It will be the best investment gift ever. A real leverage into the world of Cryptocurrency business. it seems impossible and impossible to give 1 bitcoin for free and as a gift, but if someone gives me 1 bitcoin then I will share it to all altcoin and I will buy altcoin as much as possible that I can buy for long term investment. Bitcoin is now very valuable and that’s why people are donating bitcoin so if someone give me bitcoin as a gift so I will accept bitcoin and there is no doubt if we give bitcoin someone as a gift so it’s also increase its popularity and I’m sure that bitcoin will be more strong with high price so it’s a very good idea to give bitcoin to many people as gift and I’m sure they will also join bitcoin when they change bitcoin in their local currency so its price will be high which can compel them to join bitcoin. |

it is a gift so i would like to cash it out in the time someone gives it to me. its a gift and there is no way i will invest it and wait for better price because it is a gift it is like a kinda offend to the sender because you make her or his gift an investment. you must give also respect to him. but if the sender told you so, i would be nice. I will do the opposite, because I have a rich friend that gifted me a 1 BTC I will hold it or convert it to physical gold and engrave its code to a gold and put it in a vault make it a treasure. This is one of the best way I know to appreciate that kind of gift and Im hoping that someone will give me 1 BTC in my wedding.  thats bit too expensive now,if it was few years back i would given it but now no.price will continue to rise as blockchain is spreading across globe and 1 bitcoin is way to over value to gift anyone.maybe only rich people can afford it to gift to their relative.
Rich individuals can give gifts like sports car or real states, 1 BTC is not impossible. It maybe not possible for us but to some it is just like treating you in a KFC. I guess the question has changed a bit since it was initially posted, with the value of 1BTC bein just under 10k. Now that gift would be hilariously large. I would still hold it tho, to see how big Bitcoin really will be. If it bursts I haven't had any real losses, as I never had any realized money anyway. Won't be as hard that way. However I don't ever think anyone will gift me a whole bitcoin.
That will depend on what year that person have bought his BTC, there maybe some regrets if he will give it as a gift when the price is quite high but real friends can give something like that. Even me have cashed out 0.6 BTC just to lend my uncle a hand. It is possible in real family life situations. |

it was an unexpected thing. get 1 bitcoin from someone. if i get that. i will use for investment on ico. buy some altcoin at ico and then i sell it back at the time the coin price goes up. so the bitcoin I have will increase in number. that's what I often do to benefit from bitcoin. some will be resistant to higher bitcoin prices.
